I hate Mezz in RvR.

Been playing a fair bit of RvR recently.
One thing that I find REALLY annoying is MEZZ.

IMO, it really ruins the RvR experience.
There you are in a group or a few groups and there might be a great little battle going on and suddenly a whole bunch of people get mezzed by some caster and you gotta stand there like a lemon getting hacked down.

It really makes RvR a frustrating experience when you know you're doing OK until the inevitable MEZZ happens and it's all over.

I was so frustrated by it I finally couldn't take anymore and went back to levelling my alts.

Maybe I should have gone back to playing Morrowind.

Well, I sorta put Stun in the same category as MEzz for the purposes of my argument.

TBH, even though I know it wouldn't be possible, I'd like to see Mezz removed completely from the game or at least from RvR (or improve the resists for characters), it's such a downer for the game.

Why remove such a huge part of the game ? then why stop their ? we can allso remove heal, and all sort's of none dmg dealing spell's so it's just a pure hack n' slash game, if u want a game without mezz play diablo 2, u clearly found the wrong game to rvr in, sorry ... :/

Buy purge, or if yer a tank get some determination, or run with a sorcerer/minstrel/bard/healer/spiritmaster/mentalist? and get them to demezz.

Since 5 months ago things like mez/stun only last 10% of what it should, this because everyone have spellcrafted suit and RA's who are fairly cheap to buy.

I don't think it's that much of a drastic change. And I still have to see another game that could get me hooked as much as I'm hooked to daoc. It has a lot of good sides, but the aoe mez (I think the single target ones are fine) just play too big a part in what could be great battles. Even with SC / tank RA's / purge. And sorry about the flame at you, I spend too much time reading offensive replies by some people here I guess :x

ae mez removes the teamplay, imagine 2 pbaoe groups fighting eachother without ae mez/ae stun... that would be SO fucking fun
