Just watching a programme on ITV2 about sleepwalking and nightmares etc (nerf the damn adverts) and I was wondering if anyone here does anything unsual in their sleep? I know that while im a sleep recently i've gone downstairs a few times and turned on the TV for no reason, and when I was around 5 apparently I used to sit up in my bed and scream for a few mins every so often. Anyone else do any funky sleep stuff? :p

My boss was telling us that her 8 yr old daughter tends to sleep walk with her eyes open and has the annoying habit of standing over my boss whilst she sleeps! Apparently, waking up in the middle of the night to see someone staring at you while you are asleep even though THEY are asleep is better than 200 cups of coffee.

Apparently, i don't snore whilst i sleep AND am a very shallow breater. Scared one or two gf with that in the past. Also, i talk in my sleep, and not mumblings, i have actually had a full blow conversation with people whilst i have been asleep. Normally i consider this a usefl tool, but i'm also 100% honest when i talk (brutal honesty, no sugar coating) which is a bigger drawback than an elephants forskin. Lost a few gf due to that, it's a funny sensation waking up in the morning and finding her stood next to the bed with a bemused expression, with verbal ammunition on standby.

I mean after all, i don't snore, you think they'd be pleased at that!

rofl yes!! i do that, my mum used to quiz me over what i'd been up to through the day when i was asleep and got totally honest answers, bummer dude should be against the law to interrogate a sleeping person tbh.

I just sleep very good when I'm at home... not even an earthquake or violent thunderstorm wakes me....
But when I'm somewhere else a farting fly will wake me.

Heh, I tend to mumble a lot in my sleep and snore VERY loudly, i'm the worst person to ever sleep in the same room with because of the volume of it. :p

My brother on the other hand is worse, he has full conversations with people, sleep walks with his eyes wide open and becomes extremely flatuent.

And pfff, im laughing my arse off at work at this thread and getting some odd looks. :p

one of my old flat mates used to talk in his sleep ...
was great fun , one night a few of us came home at about 3 ish in the morning .. my m8 had fallen asleep on the couch ( he sleeps liek th dead) so we where all having a good laugh when he just started speaking about owning a Polo mint factory .. there was a bit of a silence so i ask him a question and he answered it, then it went to the next person and so on .. was great fun.

and one of my ex Gf's used to talk in her sleep , but she didnt' asnwer questions :( .. still got a bit of a shock when i woke up one moring to hear her moan .. (names 2 of my friends) don't do it that way. when i asked her about it she just went bright red and changed the subject ... so i did the only thing a man can do ... i brought it up again when we where all down the pub,
this only peaked my 2 m8's interest and they wouldnt' let it drop for months.

ahh those where the days .. cheap ass student accomd. nicking pints of the bar ... and all that malarky

I tend to get beaten up in my sleep. I go to bed fine then wake up in the morning with a sharp pain in my eye and really sore kidneys. Then the evil one has the cheek to complain about having sore elbows. :twak:

Apparently I snore a little . . . though I'm sure its very quiet and more like a babbling brook than a snore :D

My brother snores (still) like a bansaw on solid timber. His neighbours have lodged complaints about it, even to the police, thinking he was doing DIY at 3 in the morning. Rather funny actually.

I've found the worst way to wake someone up, though its fucking funny if ur not on the receiving end.
did this to a mate of mine on holidays in france.

He was asleep on his back with his mouth wide open. i woke up and had to fart like mad.... picture perfect.

Boxers on my ankles and arse 1inch away from his open mouth/nose.... he was in an off mood for the whole day

Me and another mate were in hysterics for the rest of the day though :D

I found out I speak when asleep because one a of my friends who slept-over heard me speaking, I apperently speak about my invisible friend from back when I was 8-9 years old, stories about him in a fantasy world I imagined he came from... and I'm 19 now, so kinda freaky I still talk about such when sleeping, took me most of an hour to recall from where I knew the names he mentioned in the morning..
