Glad I didn't watch it.

When's it out?

They don't usually give away key plot items, just show some action to get people watching it. Pissed off that I watched it :(

I think you're overreacting. The show's makers are pretty clever, and I don't think it's a major spoiler
to reveal that most of the main characters don't get thrown in a stew by their captors.
It would have made for a very short season.

I wouldn't be at all suprised to find the show's aren't as straightforward as the trailer suggests. I'm looking forward to it.

Agree somewhat but they actually tell you how and why. Major plot giveaway in my view. I'm not dumb I knew they would get out but now the suspense is spoiled :(

Well there's the talking and then the sitting and crying. Oh and the rick'ness.

All i'm waiting for is how the rick virus will kill more people, much like with final destination.

I like this thread better because it was first and Tom started it and I already posted in it.

Anyway.

I fucking told you. The trailer didn't spoil anything.

What a fan-fucking-tastic opener. Brilliant stuff.

Fantastic opener and I like how Rick has become more pragmatic. Bonus information - I spent all night dreaming about a zombie invasion.

Also, I can't believe I didn't notice that the crazy steak lady is played by the same actor who played Tasha Yar.

Let's see how it continues, first episode means f*ck all if they revert back to the talking dead in a random 4by4 room.

I wouldn't want that level of action continuing in every episode. It's good occasionally but you absolutely need character development.

The end of last season was great - small comic-book-like stories focussing on a small number of characters at a time. Was like reading Tharg's Future Shocks :)

It's weird, the first season they went to a city, then they haven't been since, you would've thought their budget would've increased since it's pretty dayum successful.

I think they're probably staying away because of what happened in the first few episodes, but it would still be amazing if they had to go. Or maybe an airport, something that for once, shows us the true scale of what's happened.

Yeah not looking for a super-action marvel megaseries, just don't want a repeat of the "farm incident". Don't get me wrong, promising start to a season and i like the premise of the show, it's just that sometimes the stupidity and plot devicery gerts on the annoying side.

Keep it solid, keep zombies in it, don't make it a stale sitaround series and it'll be fine. It seems it's really good when they keep moving, which i'm guessing this season will focus on.

Pretty sure I read the budget has been reduced a fair bit actually.

Yeah, but that's what I'm saying, you would've thought they'd raise it.

Suppose it's cash cowing now though.
