Worst/Best RvR classes All realms

Just wondering what people consider to be the top 3 and worst 3 RvR classes in this game prior patch and maybe do this again after the patch.

best: Minstrel
2nd:Ranger
3rd:Runie

(maybe Skald In there, or a Theurg)

Worst:

3rd To Worst: Spiritmaster
2nd: Champion (after the nerf)
Worst: cabalist!

my top 3 in order of preference for best rvr chars would be scout,ranger,skald

worst would be paladin,cabalist,wizard (even though they do uber dmg)

yeh, got into an unwanted encounter with sub some days back at bowl tower..

he did more damage with his offhand weapon than i did with my 4.0spd mainhand weapon.. go figure :/

still fun, hope they buff bm's up a bit tho

why do you list firar as the 2nd worse rvr class tilde? i have some buddies over the atlantic on the us servers that would disagree very with you on this one.

All classes are only as good as the way you play them ;-)

Different classes are good for different situations...

I like my thane, although we are difficult to play well at RvR and tend to be easy Rp's to everyone ;-)

Would have to say from the people I have played with skalds are definately top 3 as are scouts

Runies are good with the debuffs too.

I don't think people who play those chars would agree with any of you, this game is not just about specs, templates and solo'ing, it's about team work and having fun.

Bards gets a big nerfing in 1.50, won't stop me from playing it though and I am not rushing any of my alts up.

I would have to disagree with SM being the WORST RvR class though, it can still do *some* damage, while interrupting another caster with pet, while blademaster can only... die?

runemaster and cleric in top3 definatly

hardly anyone has high chance of beating a GOOD cleric 1on1

end of the day though its all comes down to the guy at the controls . we all know clerics are uber but if u got somebody who doesnt know how to use that char to its full potential then i may as well put it as the worst .a cabalist/spirit master imo could prolly be a deadly char if put in the right hands . not many high lvl cabbys in excal/alb

if you solo, replace whiner with xp-killer

tricky, I would say (just my opinion)

Clerics if you want to win small battles
Healers if you want to win the war
Minstrels for being damn annoying (but hard to play well)
Skalds
Archers
Assassins
Runemaster
Sorcerers

Weaker ones would be
Blademaster
Paladin
Spiritmaster
Cabalist
Shaman

but just my opinion!! Don't get upset by reading this post, if your a skilled player you will do well with whatever class you choose..just have fun

Ive been killed by all the classes I listed as weaker, but you do need ot be more skilled to work them well.

I'd change the order of that, Scout is better than both hunter and ranger and it's debatable which one is better, ranger or hunter, personally I'd say the better player wins, or the one that get's the crit shot in I actually forgot shadowblade from the original list so:

Atleast in this patch assassins are the class that has the potential of making most RP's, especially shadowblades for one shotting those blue/green/grey casters Hib has.
