Needed rvr midgard class :)

I wanna be a good rvr class one that can hold its own in rvr and is needed 2.

I created a Thane after advice but then found out he is only good in pvm and he isnt needed in rvr or good at it.

help please =) , also was advised on Skald but now i am a bit more cautiouse rather not create another char that may be useless.

How about Healers? are they needed and r they any good,, or mystics..

Tip that will do you the most good:

Don't come to BW, ask around in game

But, the top 3 most useful classes in midgard rvr imo are: Zerkers, Healers, and Warriors. Maybe SMs..

depends on ur play style i guess:

if u like action zerker or savage is for u
if u like support/teamplay/helping others to succeed then healer or shamen is for u
if u like a bit of both then skald or warrior is for u

skalds are always needed. dont get any illusions tho, cause of the speed not the ubar dmg dealing.

healers, pac or mend, always needed.

I was advised of Thane in game

why i resort to the forums for second opinion..

Warriors and Savages cm very cool, though someoen told me ingame they r gonna get nerfed in the near future :/

is that the same for zerkers?

Healer also now cms very tempting assuming they r allways gonna be needed and can help a lot in rvr, can u guys recomend a good setup for a norse healer?

savages wont be nerfed ...
first they are a new class so they knew what they was doing
second mid are the melee realm so we are suppose to have strong melee ,,, they are cripeling zerkers BUT they will still be uber ,, if u think that the 40% less dmg u lot talking about are true u have to read the US boards !!! zerkers still kick ass

all LA styles will get is an reduction in growt points ... DF have 1.40 atm and will have 1.25 after patch

compare that with mid axe that have best style at 0.99 and u will understand that LA will still hurt BIG time

think most alb/hib will cry and mid will lol when the troll savages/zerkers are hungry

I would go warrior if i was going to roll a new mid class for rvr. Dont forget though you still need to have a fun class to play pve , with out a bufffer or powerleveller u still got to get it to 50 first. Play what you think you will have fun with.

As someone so deftly put it today, you could put 5 apes behind a keyboard as long as there are 3 healers in the group

The only possible thing that could ruin that setup is a thane

hammers > mezz/stun

Savage's are bound to get nerfed, like valewalkers and necro's did.

Warrior imo is the class least likely to get nerf bat, and skalds been getting nerfed all along :/ .

well it depends what classes mid needs if u want to rvr a lot. currently we are lacking mend and pac healers, skalds and shammies. now there might be a lot of these about but not enough of them play rvr they play the savage or the warrior etc which we dont need any more of
so these classes might not be the best at rvr thats another debate but they are the most needed

It would be cool if they did something about thrown, like being able to use throwing axes while running

it's not like thrown do any dmg.

let warriors interrupt casters/healers/archers while running up to them
(like just about every other class out there)
