Having only ever played a Mercenary for any worthwhile length of time, I can only hope next patch will bring some long awaited love to the class.

Being fairly highly specced in parry for a merc, I imagine, at 37parry, the new patch should allow m to parry more, as I hardly ever do in RvR. In PvE, I parry all the time, it helps a lot.

On the note of parry, I think someone from the merc boards mentioned something about the possibility of giving abilities by speccing in parry. I imagine it is one of the few things ou can spec in without receiving any special ability apart from higher parrying rate ofc. For example, speccing in shiled increases chance to block, and you get Slam.

This would be quite interesting, perhaps you could get abilities that allow you to parry arrows :)D) or soemthing similar.

NERF BUFF BOTS!!!

1. 2000 Range on ALL buffs.
2. 20 second drop out timer if u go beyond 2000 range.
3. 2000 because the greatest bolt range is 1875-2200 gives healers and buffers some security to hang at the back to heal and save themselves!!
4. Reduce Necro Resists in PvE THEYRE BAAAD!!
5. Fix Necro LOS
6. Remove Focus sheild from Chanter Mana spec and put it in Theyre summoning spec line AS IT SHOULD BE!!
7. Give scouts some viable spec line like Hunters and Rangers for self buffs, it wouldnt make them overpowering just more even keel in Melee dmg not bow dmg.
8. Increase YET AGAIN Cleric melee dmg if you dont spec Smite u cant even solo yellows to half HP at all!! not nice!!
9. Remove speed run from chanters!! they dont need it! neither cabbies nor SM's get it.
10. And finally change Shaman to 1.5x pt per lvl!! because i deserve it!!

and giv alb insta mezz/
remove insta ae stun from the game
and give hib/alb ae stun..

VP will be a nice addition agreed Arnor but that was not the point of the post other classes get unique high cost RAs to make their class better but not necessary to make them complete why cant a wizard?

I disagree with you Mele, yes Hib are meant to have better magic overall which clearly they do; their casters have many options and loads of tools at their disposal. I'm not talking about making Albion casters better nerf all the rest, where did you see me cry/whine in my post? - I was stating facts and opinions.

However, I am saying that a wizard ONLY does damage they have little or no other abilities, increasing their overall damage does not mean make better than other classes just that the whole point of a wizard is that their such as it is utility come from high damage but other caster classes (in Albion (air theurgist) and in the other realms) can do equal damage to that of a wizard but have a whole bunch or tools + grp enhancing abilities (a mix of some of the following): run-spell, NS, mez, pBT, randomise, amnesia, PoT, debuffs (inst and casted) just to name a few.

Look at the spell lists, compare a fire wizard to a darkness/RM, an ice wizard to an mana/eld or an earth wizard to void/Eld or RC/RM a wizard has little to offer a group and if they can’t actually kill things any quicker than another caster that can, why have them?

Anyway I ramble on, and this is my opinion, if you disagree fair enough your entitled to your own as well :-]
