The turn was too obvious though, but Dalton is a perfect choice for Volkoff. the episode overall was classic Chuck. The scene on the plane was really good.

Thoughts on what the programming Frost gave Chuck was? Extra intersect stuff, or a removal? Also, a possibility of Ellie going spy due to an intersect in the Mustang?

Ellie will probably become the new Intersect. With Chuck as a fully fledged spy he doesn't really need it any more to remain on the team. Actually, they are hardly ever using the Intersect thing these days in most of the stories anyway. Having Ellie flash (fnar fnar) would be a good way to change the dynamic a bit while keeping all the players in the game. I'm waiting for a parallel to emerge between Ellie and their mum if Ellie takes the road to superspy, just as they did with Chuck and their dad.

I agree on Dalton's turn being obvious but it was fun waiting for it.

"Oh cool! A tiny weapons stand-off" had me totally cracked up.

He still needs it to fight, he is utterly useless in a fight without his kung fu.

I think she's given him a different version of the intersect that will give him what he needs to defeat Volkoff come the end.

The tweezers / hostage stuff before the small weapons fight was quality too: "how long has it been since a man showed interest in you?"

Yes I loved the latest Episode. It was superb!

No "Buy More" side story though...but I guess they didnt have the time. They are always quite amusing...

Would probably have the baby end up having an intersect embedded within it as a side effect of Ellie being implanted too, then having chuck become more like his dad with creating gadgets to keep up with everyone else since he won't have his chopsocky skills anymore

Entirely speculative of course

Summer Glau super hotness! Jeffster on tip top inept yet strangely effective creepy form.

"Which one do you think is the psychotic one?"

Its one of those lines you can see coming a mile off but I was still willing Morgan to say it anyway :D

I really hope we see Rob Riggle again as Jim Rye but since he fell out of the cable car with a bullet through his chest its not very likely.

Richard Chamberlain very fun choice of evil doctor.

I can't decide if the really crappy backgrounds while they are supposed to be driving is budget or deliberate reference to all the old spy TV programmes and movies where it was really badly done. I'm leaning towards deliberate :D

Great episode :)

Bit of both probably, but it's handy (and somewhat ironic I guess) that the reduced budget might actually be helping the show insofar as the spy spoof/homage/whatever sets are concerned :p

Fun ep, well, as usual.

Hope they drop the intersect tomfoolery now and bring in some plotline outside relationship etc, bit bored of the "oh i can't flash" :p

Timothy Dalton rapidly becoming the best thing in Chuck atm :)

I felt the last couple of episodes haven't been quite up to snuff, despite lots going on.

I knew we were getting Die Hard as soon as I saw Morgan with his feet in the bowl. Chuck can flash again so we're through that rapdily-becoming-tedious plot arc.

Needs more Casey. His cruel humour provides a lot of the bite and he's not getting to bite much, just wander around in the background grunting in response.

Monet Mazur ... om nom nom nom
