There was a program on C4 about this kind of thing a few months ago... Allthough i think they showed it about 3am or something. They were from Sweden or something, perhaps Norway, and they were really into their RolePlay.

They organised themselves into villages, and were having big arguments over stuff, and threatening fights... It looked quite fun I didn't play this mpeg with the sound on(was there any?), so i couldn't say whether this was recorded from that program.

You all moan, but do you have a better way to spend your weekends? You spend all day sitting at your computers, fucking up your eyesite and posture, yet you call these people nerds? At least there actually getting outside

Sar where did you get this from? Was it from another large forum that is quite good and car based kinda? if not never mind forget I said anything....

I will reply to this as I replied to the self same thread on another forum.....

Although yes I admit it does look quite sad in a way to most people, you do have to be in the right frame of mind.... If you are a DnD fan and play tabletop roleplay this is just another way of doing it...... I have had some fantastic times at LARP events, been scared, laughed till I cried and everything in between. With the right crew, plot and system there is not a lot to beat LARP.... I have recently retired from the hobby after 10 years of decent weekend adventuring to play paintball on a more serious level, I miss it, especially this weekend as a few of my friends are off to the Gathering (one of the biggest LARP fest events) to have some fun..

There is a great mix of things happening on this planet that people enjoy doing its what makes humans speshul!!
