imo the only reason they're doing this, is because they already have an awesome iPad smasher (in my head I call it the Ipad....max) already lined up with no market. it will have one USB port and be locked to Apple's own mobile network that they have set up.

I dunno, I tried using the Youtube HTML5 player and thought it was dire. You can do much more with Flash. For video, it's great.
