Must admit I'm with @Scouse on this one - seems to be a case of man sees pretty woman, man asks woman out, she says no. The end.

If that's now newsworthy with multiple joyless women in sensible shoes, and mangina owning men in the Twittersphere declaring it to be "sexual assault", Western Civilisation has a bit of a fucking problem - no one will be asking anyone else out ever again.

Paywall. But Kim Kardashian definitely doesn't make any money from selling sex and sexuality does she? Nosiree.

Journalist dresses up in Kim's corset, for whatever sex-related fluff piece she's doing - and frankly, if you'd doing a piece on the Kardashians it's impossible for it not be related in some way to sex because that's the whole Kardashian raison d'etre.

Said journo poses in Kardashian's sexy corset. Gets pissy when some people* find it sexy and ask her out for a drink, in a polite and perhaps mildly suggestive (but not really) text.

*as an aside from this - that "some people" is important. I've many many examples - but this one is illustrative. I was taking a trip to Manly Beach in Sydney to spend the day on my own reading a book. A really hot swiss-french volleyball player got chatting to me on the ferry and we spent the day together. I was very clear that I wasn't up for anything sexual as I had a partner but she was very clear that's exactly what she wanted, and couldn't be discouraged. All day.

I took it on the chin as the compliment it was tbh. I was mildly irritated by the sexual advances but the rest of the conversation was generally very pleasant. I could have decided it was "harrasment" but I didn't put a hard stop to it - which I could have.

My favourite story of the day was when she was trying to "hint" that she's up for on-the-spot sex with blokes she finds attractive. Recanting a story that a bloke on a ferry she'd not even spoke to (or seen) spun her around and grabbed her by the pussy. Trump-style. Her initial impression after she'd got over the shock was that he was fit, so she shagged him.

I asked what she'd have done if he'd have been ugly, and she laughed and said "call the cops"...

...anyway. Got texted a few times over the next few days of my holiday. It's not a big deal. Horny bird finds me attractive. I'd be a twat if I felt that her unwelcome advances added up to actual harrasment though.

World is going mad, need to be careful how you shake hands with people soon just incase it goes down as harassment

Bloke stops the night at Spaceys, turns him down, bit creeped out in the morning but stayed a second night?

Don't get me wrong, it sounds creepy as fuck, as do the other allegations - but multiple women have "grabbed my crotch" at a bar often without even having talked to me first**.

If I realised someone was trying to fuck me that I didn't like I'd leave...

I guess I'm just jaded with what's going on now. Not that there may not be something in all the accusations (including Dustin Hoffman) - but (and I never thought I'd agree with Theresa May) - if you've got a beef, go to the police.

**Edit: Not that I think that's OK.

**Edit edit: But if she's gorgeous...?

Some people, like Damian Green, an MP who tried it on while married, who touched her knee, sent her a sexy text message. And according to Guido, it isn't the first time either. He's 30 years older than her, in a position of authority and trying it on with a junior researcher.

And he was in the database of names on the Ashley Madison website. Sounds like a straight up honest to God marriage respecting Christian Tory to me. The usual type.

She wasn't a junior researcher, or at least, not one that was working for him; she was an "activist" whatever the fuck that means. As to his marital status; infidelity isn't a crime because we're not living in the 15th century; and his age is also irrelevant; it may creep you out but that doesn't make it a crime.

Whilst I don't think the text message is particularly sexy, ultimately, unless it was repeated unwanted approaches after someone had said "no, not interested, please stop" - making it actual harassment - then there's nothing to see here.

People (other people than me) cheat on their partners, people try to get people to sleep with them. Some people like to be chased. As long as adults are adults and things are clear I don't really care (other than I wouldn't vote for him) that he shags around on his wife. Nothing illegal has happened.

I notice you've not addressed any of the rest of my post btw Tom. Sexual behaviour is complex in humans. Unless it's coersive (people feeling that they *have* to do it - and tbh some people are going to "feel" like that anyway, regardless of the type of approach) then a lot of this is fair game tbh.

Sounds like a moral crusade rather than anything else in this case.

Edit: And yeah, what @DaGaffer said about age too.

A girl I work beside (who's great chat, married and currently on maternity) said I had a cute butt. I've been sexual harassed in the workplace. zomg.

Honestly, cunt off with all this. I feel really bad about those who've suffered at the hands of actual rape and abuse, all these cunting special snowflakes that are coming out of the woodwork are trivialising it for these women.

Not the same but related to this outpouring of bullshit but people dragging themselves over coals for climbing some bit of rock in Australia.

Do people actually need the church to tell them they are sinners or something, just to stop this feeble shit?

Hardly a witch hunt if he's resigned, if he's resigned it means there's truth to it and based on that fuck him quite frankly.

There was never any doubt that there was truth to it - mostly as he apologised and JHB spoke in the media at length over what a non-issue it was.

Surprised Theresa May didn't 'lose' the files like she did last time with the pedophile business tbh.

Quite ironic, given the knee touching furore seems to have buried the actual serious allegation of rape by a Labour party member. But then that's standard operating procedure for that lot - uncomfortable allegations get buried (see Rotherham) just so they can point and say "Teh toaries".

Yup, a labour women has been raped, as in penetrated by labour penis without her consent, by a senior labour party member (name to come out eventually, in serial format I guess...)

And a Tory touched someone on the knee... Fallon probably looked at some snowflake funny and made them burst into tears or some shit.

Not even close to being the same thing, or in any way similar.

Also, Fallon hasn't resigned as an MP. He has used it as an opportunity to get out of a failing cabinet but without triggering a by-election.
