At the bottom of every page on my forum window it says
the time now is 4:16 so tis right, byt he time i finish typing maybe a little later.

In your profile if you go to edit options and change the time offset to GMT (Western Europe, London, etc) then you'll be one hour behind. You have to set it as CET(Central European Time) to make it GMT +1 but really you shouldn't have to since it should take in to account the british summer time automatically.
