One of the most selfish, ass-hole'ish thing to do these days; friend request.

It does two things;

A - Forces you to add someone as a friend that you barely know(from work for example) and as such, force you to change your filters etc. because...

B - Makes you look like a dick 'cause you don't accept.

All the pressure on the requested, none to the requestee.

You know if someone wants to be your friend, don't force feed it to people.
