Did you actually know that Warhammer is a tabletop game? The company that created this tabletop game is also one of those behind WAR Online, and they simply wanted to make the game similar to the tabletop figures.

While I do agree with other parts of your post, I think it's bit early to starting judging the game. Since I think the largest playerbase will be those who plays or played the tabletop game I doubt there will be much of WoW/CS kiddos.

And we all saw how much the 'leetist twits' ruined the server, as i recall it was the random roglords and such that whined non stop about the gankgroups ruining rvr for others and stuffs, then the fg players (most) left the server and look at what you have now. =)

Said it numerous times, yes, we add, on people that has no intention of respecting our fights such as your group. We do NOT add on people that plays fairly and is in it for good fights instead of steamrolling everything that moves for every ounce of rp's, if you cant understand that then tough.
I see absolutely no reason to be nice and leave the adding/zergsurfing FGs when they are fighting when they wont EVER leave us. Mutual respect and such, these types of FG's are obviously not in it for fair and challenging fights so we just play as they do, respecting their playstyle. ^^

I really don't care what you think you do in game. For me you and your mates are no better or different than any other guilds out there and once you've gotten that into your head you might come to the conclusion that I find your and the other people's I already mentioned drivel about other groups/guilds being adders/zergers/poor players just annoying.

I don't know what you mean with "your group" as I dind't lead a group for ages and the LD group is defunct for a while now, but suprisingly when I've ran it people realized that we have a fair policy and we have been encouraged to continue as a group, even though we had a hard time most of the time. It was more rewarding to get the PMs on FH or getting mentioned in a thread by/from our enemies than the usual Groove/Maelstrom-group- or Jupiter/Gahn-badmouthing who fought against us too, so don't tell me anything about mutual respect, you lack it completly.

If you lose against a mutual respect group, you whine on IRC like a little kid, if you don't remeber it, check Dallas' video.

But what would you know. You preach the one thing on here and behave differently in game. I might be a bit agressive on here, but at least I don't have a split personality like you have it, I mean you say WoW is useless and the next post you try to make a point by saying I said WoW is totally shit.

Yes, I do, I've watched people playing Warhammer a few of times in a shop called Spielbrett (Gamedesk) in Berlin, where I've been buying my pen & paper RPG stuff and books.

For some the graphics might be appealing and it's really okay, everybody has a different taste. It's also good when the game is trying to follow the Warhammer tradition but they could have at least made a world and user interface that is more unique and distinguishable, I think this can be achieved even if you stick to the Warhammer style. Sometimes chosing a certain graphics rendering engine will achieve that effect to make a game looking more unique.

Other RPG games in beta I've seen at the GC had a clearly distinguishable UI/world/characters/way of fighting and I am just disappointed Warhammer didn't.

Hes only got to pop along to the WAR forum, its been discussed to hell and back about WOW copying WAR.

A tiny bit of research will see that blizzard was ask to produce a game based on the WAR realm, characters etc, blizzard did a shit job and GAmeworkshop told em to piss off.

Blizzard were slightly unhappy with all the work that had put in so they slighty changed things and hence World or Warcraft was borne.

Orcs weren't green until WAR came along

I have played the wow pvp end game, to death. 455 resilience to those who know is a very good pvp rating, its like being rr10 in daoc.

My thinking is WAR will have WoW game mechanics( ie that 5 year old could use), but daoc world environment.

Will probably be a wow clone, the kids and lay man game players demand it. tbh though, some will get bored and come to daoc. Wow has its mature pvp community, but its only like 5% of each server - u never know 6 months after WAR comes out dyvert may have a population of 2500 prime time, 2500 sounds a lot, but is a piddling amount compared to wow.
