I have to say, her norkage is rather special. But I'm gonna upset the apple cart a bit here:

Me and the bird are of the opinion that she'd never be military personnel with tits that huge - she'd be hardly able to run with funbags of that size, never mind do any lifting with those mams getting in the way.

Surely that would fall under sexual discrimination?

If she can pass the fitness course, I don't see why they wouldn't take her.

Besides, she is a marine so I'll bet she knows her athletics. Phnarrrr! :D

Good filler though.
thought the hallucinations were really well done. Especially Greer's and Rush's.

Enjoyed it. Good filler. Sets off more tension between the crew too :)

Was a great filler, loved how it gave everyone an idea of what the guys/gal were thinking about. Greers and Rushes were very well done.

You would.

Oh gee, sorry i don't love and wank over every episode.

It was a filler, pure and simple, with nothing new revealed and pointing at characters going "ooh remember that this bothers them" like we wouldn't know it already.

If they want to build characters up, try using something new.

As such, it was theonly point of the episode and it was one step away from a "previously on" episode (which is coming around soon i bet)

Just seems the show is like an indecicive sex addict at a hooker convention.

I wish they had the guts to really kill off Scott or leave him behind forever. No luck :<

Annoying filler.

It wouldn't be so bad if it actually revealed something about the characters, most of it was stuff we knew already apart from one new bit from a single character.

The show is very shallow, it constantly fails to follow through.

Ok hangover was bad. But watched this again. Filler, maybe. But as fillers go pretty damn good.

Realised I'm gutted that the bint's dad who also played Castille in ST:TNG in *the best episode ever* 'Yesterday's Enterprise', wasn't in this some more.

However the other characters didn't know these things about Greer, Rush and James to the degree they do now.

Not really. They didn't see inside their mind as we did.

They know James hallucinated killing Scott (and the circumstances).

The know Greer's hallucination was very specifically to believe Rush and wossherface were trying to take control of the ship again.

In the case of Rush, yes, it's a bit more limited. Without rewatching I'm not sure he told anyone what he'd been hallucinating, not even any clues.

I don't remember them revealing the circumstances about James?

Young found James in her quarters curled up on the bed hallucinating, and they know this was that she'd killed Scott, with his body lying right there. It couldn't get much clearer, could it ?

Interesting episode, I can't quite decide whether I liked it or not.

I still don't like the ancient stones, but this was the best use of them yet. The humour from O'neil seemed really out of place imo. I'm not a fan of the direction it's taking with the Lucian alliance etc, i want something fresh without harking back to the old Stargate plot lines - will be interesting to see which direction it takes next episode.

I wanted Carter to show up too
but I guess that's down to just starting watching Sanctuary.

First off, love the way o'neill threw the "son" in there. Good homage.

Also it was just the thing missing i noticed, light humor, there's just not one smile in that show where there were atleast some in the SG series. Could use a bit more of that.

Otherwise episode was better, don't know exactly what made it. Could be the pacing or that there's a bit clearer plot going, or just that there's actually happening something :p

One question though;

The guy giving the doctor the toy car, i've not really noticed him before a couple of episodes ago, kind of slowly slinked into the plot and now more and more. I'm thinking, was he there all along, is he a "sudden new guy slinked in", or did i just miss him before?

It could be the old buffys sister trick.

This guy, right? Haig Sutherland . If so, he's been in 14 episodes now (they're not yet listing Subversion Pt1, and note 'Air' counts as 3 ...). He's just very much a background character... regular... but background.

Yeah, thought that would be the case. Thanks, was starting to have a conspiracy moment :p

Thought it was strange for Daniel Jackson to be doing recon/leading a ground assault team for the air force, but what the hell, any excuse to put him in the show is good enough for me :D

Not really sure how to feel about two-parters (or 3-parters, as this one seems like it'll be) until they're finished with, so not sure what to make of the episode.

why oh why...

...do they always have to end series on cliffhangers

Well, they don't always. Buffy tended to nicely finish off one story first, for instance. Just the 'Dawn' thing springs to mind. But, yeah, Stargate is fond of that format.

And, arghghghghghghghg <----- just watched the SG:U finale.

It's ridiculous. This thing has played out over 3 episodes and it still isn't done at the end of the series? I bet s2 starts with a two-parter and it may not even be resolved at the end of that!

Leaving some of the best storylines to the last few episodes is getting annoying. When they have the best episodes at the end and start of a season (or mid-season break), you tend to consider those episodes as the main story and all the others as filler episodes. I want the entire season to be good instead!

I don't mind a small cliffhanger, but it's just frustrating when they effectively break a 2 part episode so far apart.
