Would be fair to change Dragonfang..put it in a chain and/or lessen the stun.
Could also give sb's the option to spec thrust.
But really..the reason people have whined so much about sb's aren't only because of LA,it's because of the 2nd account that stands facing the wall in PK.
The one nerf that would make this game better for many people is if you were to put range on buffs.
That way all leet kids could hang around their PK looking at the flowers or something.

Doubt if they will ever put a range on all buffs. They just make too much money from bots. I think they would prefer it if everyone bit the bullet and got a bot.

Kinda summed up by Sanya when she stated 'end game mechanics both PvE and RvR assume the player is fully buffed'

Its quite simple...
Mythic didnt nerf LA because of sb's.. but because of zerkers.
SB isnt overpowered or anything atm.

And the guy whining because he had died 2(!!!) times by a sb in all the time he had play. You are just pathetic. As a merc and i go solo out of apk i know i will die to a solo/duo (often buffed assassins). But at least i know they get a little fun. If i go buffed i might be able to kill both with a little luck. If I die i dont care. I know mercenery sucks in 1on1. Im better in fg vs fg fights.

Only thing sb can be good at is 1on1. Its the whole design of an assassin. So who are they gonna kill?

I saw a sb PA CD a wizard this morning. Guess what. Wizard purge + moc + nukes = dead sb

If even casters can do that. Who should a sb be able to kill?

Yep Fader, but for that, the wizard had to be at least RR4L4 (or rather RR5+) and MoC, well, kinda easy to make it crap, just run through the wizard with good timing and if he isn't an ice one, he won't be able to nuke you.

Elrond afaik i had capped slash resists and i was playing inf after that i retired it because it wasnt fun anymore. Hellskor minstrels wont get nerfed just keep attacking me your virtually free rps and will be even easier come 1.62

Hmm, consider that most infs unbuffed have about 1200 hp with decent gear, if you were 3 shot by a shadowblade they would have had to hit you for 500 damage a swing, which is 400 after your cap slash resist takes effect, and hence 3x400 is 1200...

sorry but no way will a shadowblade, SZ or not, hit a infil for 400(-100) 3 times in a row

Again, yes, for your balanced fg with hardcore RvR players it's only 4-5 days or 2 weeks what Pudzy said. But in average grp with average players (average playtime in RvR), it's rather 2 months. If it were 1 week (or less) for everyone then we would have only RR8+ ppl in our realms.

So never look the high or low end of the things, as you could see that merc guy, a top sb killed him, so he cried for nerf. An average sb wouldn't kill him.

emma dinged 50 around the end of may early june last year yet she only has 680k rp`s..

i used to rvr alot but it wasnt stealther zergs or even fg rp farming.. i solo`d a large majority of my rvr so even though i might have had 1k rps per kill it was almost 1 kill every hour :/

although now 1.62 has gone live and if things stay as they are i have a strong feeling emma will be stuck with 680k rp`s for a long time to come

well here goes. before the stealther zergs etc etc she used to camp alot infront of mpk.. so i`d wonder down stealthed unbuffed due to not having a bot and her being buffed to the tits. and ofc no matter how much skill you have buffed > unbuffed so i`d die... ALOT

so i finally got myself a buffbot a lowbie bot but atleast a bot. now i admit she was a good player (well her buffs were good anyway) and she used to do alot of kiting/repoisoning etc etc so i thaught it would be great if i could just lay down some pain to her so decided to respec to SZ which i did and lo and behold i finally found a spec i could enjoy. sure i was pretty much useless at keep takes/defense and taking out casters can be a bit hit and miss but when it comes to assassin hunting it rocked.

but it seems that the once enjoyable SZ spec will be no more back to being killed 24/7 by infils because my big phat 2h axe swings too slow

Depends on how much time you have on your hands and whether or not you work.

I had 2 weeks off work just after my skald dinged 50 in Oct and did RR5 in those 2 weeks. Couldn't possibly hope to do anywhere near that much, no matter how good the groups, unless I take the time off work.

For evening and weekend players 2 months is probably very good going, certainly for me.

Well lets say /played = 21 days is RR5 unless u like to farm mobs and chat with gatekeepers . RR5 use to be hard to get but now its so easy, took my lvl 38 shammy out 5 hours rvr random groups 10k rps and iam very sure i was dead 70 % of time.

Well, my doublefrost hits casters for more than my PA hits tanks...if thats what cami is referring to PA a plate wearer = about 180 damage, doublefrost = 100 approx
