Oh wow so edgy!

What is it that is so bad about this game?

Boring, repetitive, simplistic...stagnant?

Mechanically and visually they are pretty decent but they are just so damn boring now, they haven't moved on since the PS2 days, as far as gameplay goes they have actually gone backwards. The best one was where you were the black dude and could go and work out, they totally ran out of ideas after that and just went for the spoon feeding the dribblers route after that.

I hope they improve the action side of the gameplay and guns - that's where it got dull. Gunfights just weren't interesting.

If they made that as good as fisticuffs/gun-fighting third person action could be, plus the rest of GTA and good variety on missions, it'd be awesome - like Sleeping Dogs, but much much better (as Sleeping Dogs lacks in all the areas GTA excelled if you ask me, and the action wasn't that awesome either..but still fun, and better than GTA in a few ways).

So has every fps, rpg and mmo, yet people still play them..
You're missing the point, it's basically gonna be: Grand Theft Automatically doing the exact same shit as the last game

Yeah there are no new original genres out there but that's life. Anyway CoD/BOps/etc are also all shit imho.

I sincerely hope you enjoy it but after the last GTA (hours of game to get to a "kill or not" moment) it's not going on my buy list.

I thought it looked quite good from the trailer. I like the look of the open countryside similar to in San Andreas. Oh and the planes look fun :)

I hope they don't waste too much time developing the chore like quests you had to do in GTA IV (I don't want to take a virtual girlfriend bowling FFS!)

Oh and I hope the radio has good songs like in San Andreas :p

This. Unless it culminates in a lot of very rewarding porn. Starring me.

indeed, especially of you can use Xbox Kinect etc :D

There's an incredible market there for additional peripherals that Nintendo really should have considered cashing in on already.

Grand Theft Auto 5 release date is 17th September

So the release date has slipped by 6 months and it doesn't seem to be a nailed-on certainty that there's going to be a PC version at all. Surely they wouldn't dream of not releasing it on PC? I know they would probably do their annoying 6 month delay thing so the consoles get it first but... Fuck sake.

I doubt any PC player who's ever tried to control an aircraft in GTA will shed tears.

Same shit, different number. They done the same thing before, they don't do any news on pc release until it just comes out a while after the consoles ;o

Have been skimming through the comments and have come to somewhat the same conclusions you guys have. They need to keep it smaller, stop putting these boring filler sub-quests in and truly truly work on an interesting narrative, characters (very much as San Andreas) tighter world with more detail. Much more interactivity and choices when doing quests.

I could do amazing things with the jumpjet in san andreas. used to do all sorts of low bridge flying and other shenanigans like that.

The helicopters could be complete bitches to control but the jumpjet was awesome fun.

The fact is PC sales of GTA have never been good people generally consider GTA a game for a couch and a big telly yes yes some will say I have my PC connected to my 60 inch TV well good for you I personally don't want my huge PC next to my telly.

Red Dead Redemption which is arguably the best creation RS have ever made never saw the light on PC so I'm not holding my breath for GTA 5 on PC either.

Have my preorder down and looking forward the September.
