I'm sure it will come out on PC but it would be much more believable if a company like Amazon had made this "slip-up" rather than something called coolshop...

And presumably everything ends up in one place with everyone shooting each other point blank with bazookas driving Ferrari's while getting a blowjob off two hookers.

It's called coolshop.

Sounds Nigerian.

They are actually from Denmark but they have a UK warehouse I've ordered from them before and got my games on a Tuesday or a Wednesday reliable company from my experience.

They only deliver on Tuesdays and Wednesdays? That's sort of a meaningless statement unless you say when you ordered it...

I meant for release date games ie you will get your games before Friday release in the UK.

Anyway I only reported what I saw take it with a pinch of shit.

Money doesn't help make a good game though, Star Wars being mentioned and all ;)

Money doesn't make a good game but sure as eggs is eggs it helps.

If the basis for the game is flawed, the design is poo and the organisation doesn't know it's arse from a keyboard then no, it doesn't.

No amount of money thrown at a flawed game will help it.

Yeah, we agree there but none of what you said applies to Rockstar or GTA. Their games are consistently excellent and very polished (in my experience - not played their console-onle games), they seem to know what it takes to make a good game. If they're throwing a shit-ton of money at this game, then I they will want to use it to better an already solid base (which we know GTA games already have).

As was said previously, they're pushing the boat out with the marketing as well (included in the production figure).

You seem desparate to find flaws and problems with this game, tbh. Your sole comment after the (pretty much universally acclaimed) gameplay video:
Meh, no character customisation.
And:
Will have to see if there's anything new in that. Atleast -seems- that in the online mode you're not forced to a character like in solo mode.
Why would they not force you to be a character in the single player mode? It's their vision of how the story plays out, it's completely acceptable to have a fixed cast.

Is being able to paint your character's nails the only thing you want from this game? :\

It's not desperate, i just find the series boring after vice city :p

I just haven't seen enough of the game to justify that cost. And yes, no character customisation is a minus in a sandbox game.

Because it can be done with character customisation too. Works in saints row for example. Story isn't hurt at all by you being able to play you.

Yes it's completely acceptable to do so, but i don't have to like it.

Don't care for it, myself. In an online mode, sure, you want to be able to change your appearance (hair, skin colour, facial features, clothes blah blah blah). I just don't see it as an important factor in a single-player. It's all a bit "web 2.0" (for want of a better term).

You work in the business though (as you keep telling everybody) so you must know something I don't. :)

Nah nothing to do with it, just personal preference ;)

I just think they could do a lot more with this series and with that kind of cash. Will have to see when it's out ofcourse.

Priorities for me with a big open-world game like this are size of the map and making as much use of said map as possible throughout the game. The Ballad of Gay Tony added a load of stuff to do in the GTA 4 city.

I actually miss the truck-driving missions from San Andreas where, every time you went to the yard, you would be given a different mission. You had to complete the delivery in the shortest time or with cops after you or without damage (because boom), I forget the others but there were a few more iirc. Randomly generated (well, probably from a pre-defined list but it was a big list) routes and destinations every time. That alone kept me going back to San Andreas long after I'd finished the game itself.

Better without character customisation...too many choices spoil the brew.

Can't say i agree with that even if i get the point you're making.

Choice A: No customisation, forced characters. Only one way to play.
Choice B: You -can- customise, but can also play with the pre-set(aka lore characters). Replay value, players choice what to do.

B will always be better in those options.

Uh? How is character customisation linked to replay value? You get to play through the game again with a different moustache?

First playthrough with the lore characters, second with a more "silly" character. For example. More replay value then with stock characters anyway.

You're off your rocker.

What can you possibly take from replaying a game with a different character over replaying it with the same one? With a game like GTA the "replay" will vary anyway, because of the nature of the game. You can approach missions with different priorities but the "game" itself won't change a bit because you have a different haircut.

Take Farcry 3 for example. You can take over the outposts (and play through the whole game) in numerous different ways, would you want to be able to customise your character there too?
