pryd rvr = easy mode?

tried pryd rvr again on my 30something skald tonight in 'primetime' and i coulda had a picnic at amg... mids use bonedancers in rvr... the only balanced mid grp i saw was bad omen... all others were ragtag grps with no speed or no healer or no shammy or missing all 3... half of the players aren't even in a guild... lvl50mincers get instamezz anti-pwned by grey skalds...

Mids on their are pretty crap.
Hibs are almost none existant.
Albs put the Excal Albs to shame, very good players, know how to utilise classes and thier RA's.
Maybe you should learn how PE play Konah..

There's not that many fotm crews out and about except for the following: BO, Some random group with remi's fotm in it, Everlast, Maelstrom, Public Enemies and Forgotten Legends. Hibs rarely venture out as hibs trying to fight realms with ASD, Assisting Pure Tanks, Savages, SOS, BoFx2 and Relics is just pointless.

IMHO no, maybe it better that the people of pry. take a less serious veiw on rvr and play more for fun!

Except for too little Hibs in RvR i think RvR on Pryd is fine and more fun then Exca. But... it's all a matter of taste i guess.

Konah: I dont know what time you was there. But during the evenings, its mostly mid "fotm" groups. Its very rare that we meet anyone who isnt a asd spammer or savage. During the day other mids come out too. But its always one mid "fotm" group out preventing albs to come out. As most albs cant win over those mids. In the evening, when we come, the randoms leave and left is mostly only pe and 3 or 4 mid guild groups playing with "fotm" setup and have very good chat together so they know where to fight us..

And you can stop your talk with prydwen being easy mode. I have seen your video's. One video where a tank dont use /stick etc. You guys wouldnt have a chance on prydwen tbh. If you think you do. Start a mid or hib group here and we can arrange a meeting somewhere and lets see who wins.

all realms have at least 1 or 2 very good groups in RvR. what i've enjoyed about RvRing on pryd is playing at off-peak times: you can often have alot of fun with just 5-6 ppl groups (often with bizarre setups) which kinda makes you remember the old days when there was no such thing as FoTM in short i hear what you are saying konah, but the FoTM are there from all realms, just in fewer numbers...


having fought against PE and played with some of the best on ald/exc i'd say alb/exc (if they could be bothered) could easily field a group the match of PE, but for various reasons (mainly cos the best players are spread evenly across 3 guilds..) they rarely do

PE also seem to be alot more disciplined: most alb/exc groups wont wait for xx RA to recharge and so on, ofc this has a lot to do with the fact that, very simply, they (PE) just have alot less 'big fights' (ie on alb.exc you turn one way you got NP you turn the other its JH then the other its VGN or LA etc etc)

fewer guild group fights suits albs alot more, seeing as they rely on RAs more than other realms, ofc its helps when you have good players like PE also!

That also happens on Prydwen. When Eclipse and TDD teamed up for a while we killed more then 5+ fg Albs in Odins.

That's the way how PBAoE scales in practice, not depending on server. Tools like Grouppurge and BAOD help alot in those fights.

In the end I dont think Prydwen RvR is so much lower level. Surely there are more unbalanced Mid groups out, but the amount of unbalanced groups of Albs is just as high (relative) as then on Excal. There are 'FOTM-groups' in Mid/Pryd as well, but you cant blame those guys for using the best (overpowered) class there is currently in their realm.

I think Konah is wrong, he probably wants to flame the Prydwen people or something. I suggest he goes playing Alb or Hib there and fight PE (Albs) and BO, MM, Everlast, etc etc.

Let's see how it goes. Bringing a freshly /levelled toon to Emain and comment on the things you see is the easy way and not very good

I was gonna say that Second QC ra > mota 4 but i suppose it depends on your play style, even my rr10l10 template only has mota3 dex3, rather go for RA's like Conc and RP.

Some fights actually go on for quite a long time and you end up using a lot of power, sometimes you get adds, sometimes you have to MoC + lifetap to keep yourself alive, a great number of reasons to take a full power bar every 30 min instead of a 1.41 sec cast mezz (as opposed to my 1.45 sec). In 1.65 our base lifetap is level 50 and costs more power as well.

Anyway like I said its a matter of opinion, but 10 points so you can cast 0.04 secs faster sounds expensive to me.

Yeah and sometimes you get instastunned 0.01s before your mezz finishes and your group gets mezzed and ganked to shit.
