I like the new Windows 7 phones quite like the interface for starters and the Xbox Live intergration is awesome but my GF says if i get a new phone which will be my 4th this year she will cut my balls off.
Truth be told though my next phone will most likely be an iPhone again i really miss iTunes on my phone i miss the ease of putting a episode of whatever im watching on my phone so i can watch it on the train to work.
Why can't google launch a service like iTunes surely it would be a hit with the growing number of people buying Android phones?
All my music is on iTunes and i just find the whole process of getting a album or something to watch from my PC to my Galaxy S which isn't the phones fault as so far its been a great phone to use.
Just sometimes i see how easy it is for my GF to go upstairs literally change her entire iPhone 4 music/episodes of programs library in under 10mins or so and i can't help but feel a little jealous.
Your sentance should have stopped here.iTunes and Zune don't work
I'm surprised you aren't getting all exciting about the playstation phone.
Bodhi, you will find that Moxier Mail *CONSTANTLY* restarts itself behind the scenes and will drain your battery in next to no time. Until Sony release this update (which has been put back 3 times already), the only things you can do are either run a task-killer app frequently, or root your phone and use a shell to remove the Moxier files. Otherwise your battery life will be substantially shorter than it should be. Don't give me "smartphones eat battery" because my Desire lasts 3 days with light use and about a day with heavy use. My wife's X10 lasts about 36 hours with light use and she can't get through 12 hours of heavy use without charging.
If this update doesn't sort out the battery problems then I'll be using XDA-Dev for a solution. Sony have absolutely locked down the hardware but some enterprising devs are chipping away at it a brick at a time. Root has been achieved, SPL identified and extracted, and work is ongoing on running custom ROMs.
You missed my point. My wife doesn't use Moxier Mail either and it's never been set up. It starts up *itself* and runs behind the scenes almost like a service. Get your hands on "TaskPanel X" to keep an eye on your running processes to see for yourself.I don't use Moxier Mail, haven't even set it up. Wasn't planning on it either, as the only Exchange server I can connect to is the works one, and I only use that when I'm in work, where I have Outlook and all sorts.
So yeah, still no complaints. The Text-to Speech libraries went on fine, and I've spent the day on Android Market, getting all I wanted. No issues witht he battery life either, as it's better than it was on my Satio.
A lot of negativity around it being Samsung hardware, I thought the Galaxy S was a very sexeh phone, perhaps a little bit old iPhone if I had to be critical.

Put it this way, I just picked up my wife's phone which has been on the desk all evening. She's not done a thing with it in 2-3 hours yet Moxier is running using 16MB of RAM and eating battery (along with 38MB of other apps).
Is the nexus one still a decent phone to pick up? My poor old hero looking very long in the tooth now, and i dont think 2.1 helped at all.
