I think those 3 are spanish cause after i killed them i received a pm from a spanish guy from alb who told me , hi i am spain u killed my friend ... were u buffed ? I said yes , then he asked can u tell me exactley wich buffs u have cause u little too hard weird .... means i cheat i htough . SO i didn't answer lol .

Hmm , sure Edelia has written this thread or its another blatant attempt to massage an ego. Let me assure u minstrels are not overpowered. Perhaps as already mentioned with good buffs a high rr, and most importantly good gear they can be strong character, plus edelia knows how to play a minstrel well which helps however taking 3 of you means u must have really screwed up.
I have sucky epic , not a high rank and am not buffed solo and get owned by everything other than casters solo so i play as a grp minstrel

And the reason minis tend to buy a bot and solo is cos 90% their tools are useless in fg-scale rvr, SC killed those tools and many others. Sad but true.

On the other hand, show me a FG that tries to compete with the best without having speedsong 5. Minstrels are simply vital in an Alb RvR group, there is no way around it. Also, insta DDs and stun are extremely useful for interrupting casters, and my favorite trick these days (when I bring out the old gimp) is to try to stun the bard or healer before he gets off his AoE mezz. Not to mention SoS, which all the Hibs and Mids here like to quote as a win button, and you will see that your argument is slipping, Lofff.

MM to tell the truth loff i roamed a lot in emain and gorge but i tried an don't remember u . Can u tell me u classpls and where we met ? And did i loose against u ? Cause till now didn't loose yet a 1 vs 1 true fight . Except 2 one was agaibnst a sb i forgot to purge , ip and the other was against a buffed savage strip ( i killed him once and he killed me once too ) . But u ??? lol i really don't remember u =(

i never said minis are a solo class, they are vital for grps, yes, i only stated most find funnier to solo and thats why alb grps lack minis, theres a load out there but not many lfg. Ablative chant was a grp-class-improvement try, but it reinforced their solo abilities.. i got a mini myself btw, altho i barely played it since soloing is boring and random alb grps are a pain ~~

nevermind, i play bard 99% my playtime nowadays so u wont find me solo anymore, used to roam the gorge a lot with my solo unbuffed champ and everytime i met u was worth a laugh, even got sum screenies of ur always scary buff-drop-list..

u didnt debunk anything, u just seem to feel offended by my words anyhow. Minstrel is a must in every alb grp, yes, i never meant there were not and thats only thing u might have "debunked". SC killed 90% their tools in fg-scale rvr, this is a fact and u cannot debunk it, minstrel mezz is just useless nowadays and stun duration on SC+resistbuff targets (lets forget even trying on det tanks) is like 3sec, DDs dmg on same targets are laughable, so is minstrel melee dmg or the dmg they can take (even with ap)

Nowadays a grp needs a minstrel just for speed5 and curemezz, as bonus they get ablative chant (which is useless against assisting targets) and a gimp assisting grp tanks to help with dmg dealing a tiny bit.

Get real.

Try mez grp´s bard while SoS to flee away, try to charm a pet and put it on the one who´s chasing ya while SoS, try to DD one and DD another (both stealthers) while mezzing one of em so u can prevent another from stealthing...

Hmm, I seem to give off some bad vibes today, people misunderstanding me at every step. I wasn't taking offense (my minstrel is not my main anyhow), I was just trying to point out that IMHO a minstrel is still a group beast. Among the musician classes, minstrels are at least on a par with skalds in group RvR these days (skalds have not received anything for a long time and have suffered the same SC blues as us). That bards have an order of magnitude better utility is another matter.

Bard has power regen
Bard has end regen
Bard can buff
Bard can mezz
Bard can DD
and MUCH more

Mincers only have 3 out of 6 of those attributes, if anything needs nerfing it's bards with their speed and end regen they can outrun anyone in the realm including mincers, why didn't your bard do hit and run on the mincer? why didn't he cure the mezz as she did it on the 2 heroes? Why didn't your bard heal? Why didn't your bard mezz the mincer? (don't say SoS cause it takes much longer to kill 3 people than for SoS to run out. Sure mincers can get a pet but that is no excuse for a bard and 2 heroes to fall, you just didn't fight properly so stop the nerf posts.
