iTunes Album Information

Anyone know how / if I can group a lump of songs together and get the album information automatically? I mean song title, number etc. I now you can group them and add Artist, Album etc but cant seem to do it for the song

I haven't got that to work. I just typed it in, it doesn't take long... unless you're listening to a band with really long song names.

iTunes itself doesn't have an autotagger feature: The grouped view only makes sense for Artist/Album/etc. since the track name would be unique to each track. The closest you've got within the interface is to start at track one, and click ‘Next’ or ‘Previous’ rather than ‘OK’ and that will move the dialog onto the next track in the playlist, rather than close the window.
