Hardest arti to get

Is it just me or is Cloudsong one of the hardest artifacts to get an get credit for??? Never finds it up An buying the arti dont count ...

I believe your right. And something tells me it's becaise of all the GoV/CS camping necros that only lets the mob live for like 3 min...

They should all be quest based , cant see the point in having mobs that spawns once a day for artis that 50% of population is after

I was personally lucky with this Arti... Needed credit on both of my clerics... I camped it for about 3hours, got a pop, PMed a Necro to come kill it for me, we /random 100d for the cloak, he won, I gave him 10p for it. Done and dusted on both, just have to buy it for the 2nd cleric off a ME.

getting CS credit was the most frustrating thing i've ever encountered in this game. utterly ridiculous, the mob should spawn every hour on the hour at least.

I needed credit on my fish for about .. hmm ... 6 months, checking it atleast 3 times a week after work and just before I went to bed.

I've never had a problem getting CS credit. Do things properly and you get credit; simple.

when i need credit on a char i log the char out there and check if its up when i go to bed and when i get up, normaly find it up in the odd hours, kill it get credit, no point in checking it in prime time cos there is allways a necro camping out there tbh

a, Camp the spawn point untill it pops with your required toon
b, Have a campbot with a name such as "campbotforCSplspmgingifitpops"
c, Leave your required toon there and log on at hourly intervals
d, run weekly arti raids in the hope that CS is up and not camped
e, PM one of your GM m8's and get them to spawn the encounter


Ive got CS on 4 toons and tbh ive camped it for 14 hours+ on 3 occasions and on the 4th i was jsut lucky and got a PM saying it was up.

I't never dropped on any of those occasions afaik and ive had to buy it.

People still don't seem to understand that there are very simple, basic and easy ways of getting artifacts/credit without camping for hours and hours on end.

Same as eggy-- except for SoM on my inf (1st char I TOAed)

I just log a toon there, check back 1-2 times a day (usually before I go to uni and when I get home-- and before bedtime). It always works, and I get my arti/credit.

check them occasionally, don't put your gaming on hold just to get the arti?

ahh but what if your gaming is on hold until u get that arti/credit?

Ie your waiting for CS credit before u start your poc xp to get all artis lvled at the same time? Personally i do as little PvE as possible as its boring and repetitive.

other than the obvious "gtf" answer an E&E would get from the GM for asking that it wouldn't actually help since none of the artis are popped on a reboot

trouble is more often than not, youre off doing something else, it pops and friendly necro kills it in 2 mins before you either know its even popped or before you get there. personally i wouldnt rvr with low lvl artis, cos if theyre not at the lvl u need you may as well not use at all.

or you can not bother with the whole camping thing and find a nice guildie who enjoys it and ask them to do it for you, eh ging?

Actually, yes the above is true. I feel if your gonan run a toon in rvr its should be as perfect as your time/money can make it. Yes you can replace CS in a temaplate but the benefits from artis like CS and JS and Tarts are a "must have" to be able to compete "at a certain level". This is the reason these artis are SO valuble and people will spend alot of their time making sure they get credit or the arti.

The biggest complaint about CS is that the spawn time is anything up to 3 days and its not a 100% drop, in fact I would say the drop rate from my expereince is probably under 50%.

So i agree make it harder with a 100% drop or make the spawn 6 hours or so.

if only it was that easy flim admittedly the last char got credit first time, one of the clerics didnt, dunno if it was that current patch or what but it was very annoying to camp for ages, have it spawn, either join a group or make one and still no credit.

no if 3 people hand in the box they will ALL get credit, and afaik you HAVE to be in the group that kills the mob to get credit, been in BG before and not got credit...... ..... that was fun.......

Artifacts aren't designed to be easy-to-get and doable on all of your chars all the time (oops, I foiled the system a little). They are powerful items, and should have been made rarer than they are at the moment.

Spawn times depend on various factors, and technically CS could pop 5+ times a day, just depends on luck.
