Just back from Airwaves. Gobsmacked: giants Sigur Rós got bumraped by mini Samaris. Also, chicks were hot, beer was good, weather was meh, and I got a cold. Boo.

to be fair I'm already mostly better due to large amounts of Icelandic paracetamol (and beer). also, I didn't want to miss out half the festival so I went to bed earlyish three nights and skipped the secret after-after-party. I'd say the Samaris gig and Daniel Bjarnason/Ben Frost's Sólaris rendition are tied for first place as best gigs.
