hey Wazzerspunk, guess who's going to ace Iceland Airwaves since their last performance there 11 years ago? I'll give you a hint: the band's name ends with ..igur Rós ;-)

this is going to be stupidly awesome :D also, venue is here (would have loved it to be outside, but hey, can't win em all :)) http://www.last.fm/venue/8780720+Laugardalshöll

Any other announcements/listings yet? I'm seeing Sigur Ros in their only UK date this year so I don't need to fly out there to catch them :D

Saw Soundgarden, was good but yet again the sound balance was all wrong. More Audioslave than Soundgarden but bass and percussion nearlly drowned Chris Cornell's voice which I didn't think was possible. And it wasn't the venue as have seen lots of bands there who have been fine.

Saw Alphabeat live a couple of weeks ago and they were amazing! Stine Bramsen is shit hot and her voice makes me rock hard. One of the best live vocals I've ever heard along with the guy further down this post..

A few weeks earlier I saw Lukas Graham. Within the last year or so he has come out of no where and taken Denmark by storm. His voice is amazing and he is crazy live as well. I really hope you get to experience him as well and he manages to cross the borders and make it big time, because he deserves it

Here's how it pretty much all started. Him and his band made this song and came home early one morning and decided to record it and put it up on youtube.

Here are some of their other songs

- Drunk in the morning is at the end of this as well

His voice is soothing in a really nice way

Chris Cornell last night. Small venue. Absolutely brilliant. Such a stunning voice.

Chris Isaac. Very good he just has to sing Elvis. Wicked Game is the story of my life.

Scissor Sisters excellent as always despite a room full of snogging blokes.

Last night got dragged screaming to see Keane. The first band I have ever seen/heard who were 100% better than their singles. Lead singer can really sing and didn't sound a bit like anything he's recorded. A really good evening.

All three at tiny venues, makes such a difference.

Tenacious D this weekend.

Are they still going? I heard their album with Dave. Grohl as the devil. Did not know they released others?

Tenacious D was good, but overpriced imo.

Giant inflatable penis on stage that did a cumshot when the gig was over :p

Just got tickets for Alt-J in May.

Also there's a chance I may be going to Brixton Academy 3 times in 4/5 days (Orbital (unbooked, awaiting query answer), The xx, The Prodigy (awaiting sale)) !!

Really getting frustrated with buying tickets now. If you can't get the priority booking stuff, then you are screwed. Tried to get alt-j and jake bugg tickets, sold out but all available at massive markups on getmein.com.

It's ridiculous that touts make ticketmaster money.
