Good signing imo, Defoe is a proven goalscorer and will fit in nicely i think.

Will have to see if Benjani stays though - Pompey are 7m out of pocket at the moment because the deal with City didn't go through.

It's closed but all the paperwork and so on was sorted out before the window closed at midnight, the only reason it didn't go through was because Benjani didn't make it to Eastlands on time.

Well, with Defoe, he's usualy armd with a glock, or an assault rifle.
I think he'll do well at mid ranges, pick off the opposing team with a few well timed burst. Then follow up with the pistol, take out the goalie execution style, and score.

and liverpool over both of them.... they've fucked up a bit ye, but no way have villa everton portsmouth done enought to close the gap on big 4, dont forget arsenal just nicked 4th over spurs last 2 seasons running, look at arsenal now, and look at spurs for that matter, the top 4 will basicly always be those same teams apart from freak seasons and one offs ect
