What reeallly fucks of me off right now is that I've stopped going to the gym due to the lack of motivation, but my diet has cleaned up. And I know as soon as I start I'll start eating crap again.

Weighed in (fully clothed, jacket and all other crap) at 89.1kg at hospital last week, which puts me around 87kg -- Which makes me now officially lower than the weight I was after xmas.

Aiming for 75kg through cardio before I start going back up through weights. No rush atm.

Few relatively minor lifestyle changes (no pub 3 times a week, a ban on a few foods and eliminating snacking) and I'm losing 3-4Kg/month now. Can think about making that a bit more drastic . Going travelling to Aus in March, I think I might try and aim to lose a stone while there. Lots of walking and doing things and as little crazy hotel food as possible.

I just redid ab ripper as I don't want to skip bits. I looked like I was having a seizure, or a beetle upside down.

Yoga is the single most important part of P90x. I hated it in week 1, could tolerate it by week 5 and loved it by week 9. Stick with it, don't feel you have to do every last second of it, (particularly the last 20 minutes of the movement phase as that is really really hard). I am now doing the p90x yoga in place of the stretch days in Insanity as I missed it so much, as did my flexibility and range of motion.

Back from skiing again, will weigh in tomorrow but my 34" pantaloons are now dropping off me if I walk for ~100m. Need to go get some new pants ASAP.

no, I get post-workout endorphin release but no wacking out *cough*. That said, first time I broke 80 km on the road bike once I got home I immediately fell asleep on the couch, with all my kit still on. woke up an hour later all crusty :(

8.25miles in 1h 20m today :)
Good going. I knocked out my first 10k the other day at a similar pace.
For the last couple of months I'd been perhaps running a bit too fast, my heartrate was constantly hovering around 180bpm on my standard 5k runs. Intentionally slowed down until it stayed at around 165bpm, and the 10k came easily.

Finally, my first increase in benchpress since I started losing weight for the summer.
102.5kg is the new record, huzzah!

So i was with Slimming World for about 6-7 months and things where going relatively well, was going gym a few times a week generally on the treadmills at a steady-to-fast walking pace, pushing myself in terms of duration. However i was never entirely out of breath, sure i got hot and sweaty and my feet burned like fuck, but i don't know, it felt like something was missing the past few months.

In the mean time because i still felt like i had energy i would go on the weights, or a selection of the weights. So i'd use them at a weight i felt was sufficient. Off i go with the sets and reps. Even though it's been a few month i still suffer from muscle-tiredness around the same point, which is about the 4-5th set, i push through it and complete them. I may come back to the same machine about 5-10min later of doing my small circuit, the weights feel lighter (Again, up to about the 4-5th set) then the adrenaline kicks in. I feel like i'm gonna puke the feeling is that weird. Even though the muscles i'm working here do feel more toned, i've not really been able to increase the weights themselves, unless i maybe do less reps or less sets at a higher level?

But i was becoming bored regardless of that fucking treadmill, i've been eying up the crosstrainer for ages. Past experience has shown me it's fuckin well hard for my current fitness, so there was an apprehension of lasting about 2 minutes before i would be completely fucked. But few days ago opted to go for it. As stated, the 2 minute mark, completely fucked and out of breath but i pushed on. As it was first go, thought i'd push it to 10min, go on the weights for a circuit and do it again for another 10. This worked, managed to do 3 circuits and 30min total on crosstrainer. I was fucked. Ended up drinking about 1.5l of water in a short period of time - Cue me feeling like utter shit afterwards. Hope this is something that will go in time.

Actually got bored of running the treadmill, or any other indoor activities for that matter. Currently running outdoors, doing some jumping exercises, push-ups, finding benches to do sit-ups on. Found this thing you wrap around your stomach that you can fit weights in as well. Works wonders, also concentration comes easier than inside a gym.

... Decided to give myself an allowance of carbs today, only about 20, which is fine. Which MEANS I can now add sauces to chicken so I don't go effing mental.

Lunch: 130g of Chorizo (23g protein, 31g fat, 1gcarbs p/100g)
Dinner: 300g chicken (ish), 250g of white wine and cream sauce (16g carb), 100g cheese (1g carb) and 4 rashers of bacon.

The issue is... DINNER WAS FOUL. Bacon + Chicken = Fine. Bacon + Chicken + White wine sauce = FINE... COVERED IN COLD CHEESE = Not good :(

Am completely out of protein powder etc, but not an issue. Also found a great recipe for ice-cream.

Whipped cream (3g carb p/100ml - So 15g carbs for half a litre..) + protein powder (<1g p/100g) (chocolate or strawberry) - Mix powder with whipped cream, freeze for an hour.

See, that's what I thought... It just didn't work :( Oddly, I've met my (almost exact) allowances for food today without even trying or looking at it. Advantage of doing this for a while i guess.
