Well, 199.8 this morning. From 242.6 in late august.
Pretty happy as when I started keto I really wasn't expecting to hit my goal before the end of the year, or even 2-3 months into next year.
New goal: 195.

Awesome congratulations!

off to hit up the gym again in a moment.

my -extremely unfriendly- new scales say I'm 89.9 kg, which is about 3~4kg more than my mechanical scales say. meh, although if I add 3kg to my starting weight I'm still on the loss I was, so meh (positive one this time). I've been up over 92 in the past weeks (had a re-carb day for the bad carbs and then immediately switched the keto back on). I notice that not being strict slows the process down measurably, as my uber strict mate has lost near double what I have. Still, I'm happy :)

I want to get back into running, but I'm scared my knee won't agree with it. Tempted to go for an absolutely tiny run and slowly but surely try and build up strength in it.

I've taken my first thermogenics pill today around 3:30pm. Got my workout at 5:00pm so this will be interesting lol.

Also have zma to take before bed. It's gonna be a weird night!

Pills.

Just eat less and do some exercise instead of taking unquantifiable risks with your health. :(

My knee goes into twat mode after a good 20 mins. Not good when trying to shift a bit of uni podge.

Scouse I am already eating less calories and doing exercise, however the Thermogenics will aid with reducing body fat. The burst will also help with the workouts as you can go for longer.

ECA These sort of things affect people differently. I normally drink 3 cups of coffee a day (wont now obviously) so I will still benefit from the effects, but it wont be as extreme as someone who has a low caffeine intake.
I have had no dizziness, dodgy bowel movements or jitteriness so far.

Lazy podge here, using a bike at the gym just isn't the same. Mine doesn't actually hurt during the running mind, but a few days after :/

Not posted in this thread before, just quite happy with my progress over the last ~18 months having lost 2.5-3stone (~6inches waist size) and while fat loss has been the focus I've also from beginning benching 32.5kg in the strong lift 5 by 5 workout and the sight of 2x 20kg weights + 20kg olympic bar being 60kg impossible (as that's what my brother started on to get back into it) to now benching as of today 85kg 5x5 in proper form :) Progressed on deadlift, squats and uprights too obviously just like this feeling of irl stat progression ^^

To everyone with dodgy knees. Try running with the front foot. Buy a pair of minimalistic shoes and never put your heel down.
I can't guarantee it works for everyone but my Colleague had a lot of knee problems and could not run for more than 1-2 km and then not run for 2-3 weeks. Now he can run 2-3 times a week and over 10km.
The knee is not the problem anymore but rather his calf (lower part of the leg if calf is the wrong word) giving up :) I run on my fore foot aswell but have never had any knees problems before I started with fore foot running either. Im doing it more as precaution and calf training :)

Interesting.

There's a fair bit of science being bandied around that shoes are actually a bad thing for us and responsible for a lot of our problems. Think about a cat's or dog's rear legs - there's a mid-way joint (their knee) and then a kind of reverse joint (ankle - with heel lifted off the floor) and they walk on their tiptoes.

I've had ligament reconstruction surgery on my ankles so running is a no-no for me. But if I want to go upstairs quickly then I now run on my toes. It makes a big difference.

Free runners apparently make a lot more distance, with less joint stress and a better overall speed. They're all toe-runners (the "free" of free running means no shoes).

Kids that learn to run without shoes don't use their heels much either, apparently.

Hurts like hell if you're not used to it though :)

Went rock climbing in Thailand - the guides there don't bother with climbing shoes. Amazing how the body adapts (or tries) to the situation its put in.

People that don't wear shoes have soles that look like skin coloured tarmac, it doesn't look healthy either really.

I have to stop running for a bit, have hurty leg. Got to 2miles today and felt my left leg go after 5 minutes of feeling pain when I lift it in my stride. Tried a few times to start again but the same pain kept coming back, wasn't so bad walking but when I pushed it a bit too far it was pretty nasty then too. I eventually figured out doing those side step skips you see footballers do in training was what I could do to get home faster as I was getting cold. I must of looked an exceptional cunt(more so then usual) with my 3 skip step change side repeat. Ligament shizzles I guess.

Time for Christmas Fatterizing!

That's because the body makes the feet good for running.

After months I've just about got back to fitness. Still haven't dared get on the scales. Still haven't had time for a PT session to sort out my ab exercises.
