Well its hardly a scam Laz. How much are you happy to get for the card? TEll him that amount and close the auction early with him bidding at that amount. If you believe you'll get more letting the auction run then fine, but even if he does sell it for more, if you get what you want you dont lose.

If he wants it he can bid to his max, if he wins he wins.
Otherwise he loses and you make more dosh. I'd carry on with the auction, graphics cards seem to make more or less the retail, and in some cases more.
