yeah but you can get a new 760 for 140 is what i mean .. not 200 so two brand new 760 for 280 or two 660ti that are used for 80 quid less isnt a good deal to me

Just had a look at benchmarks for what it's worth - an SLI 660ti would be comparable in performance to a GTX 690 - which in turn (in most cases) outperforms a GTX 770.

I've been using Ebay a lot recently. Some of the cool shit I've bought lately (and fixed):
(I haven't fixed the printer yet, it still needs work)
Faulty clock divider chip on that one, the clock divider feeds the video chip (which oddly supplies the CPU clock), fired right up once I replaced it
Unfortunately this worked perfectly so there was nothing to fix
I am still looking for a boxed version of Cosmic Cruncher at a reasonable price.
This bugger took absolutely ages. Everything on the board is TTL, took weeks to go from a flat line across the screen to a working raster, and then a bit more to find out why the CPU wasn't running, and then a bit more to diagnose 2 dead ROM chips and a good 7-8 dead RAM chips. And they're all obsolete so in the end I had to substitute rom and ram with a modern fix.
Acetylene bicycle lamp I cleaned and replated. Now I just need to find an antique bike not being sold for stupid money (everyone wants hundreds for bikes pulled out of canals ffs)
