I got 60 on my Barbarian last night. Equipped a fairly decent shield plus a few other items with Vitality, Life and Resists.

Currently have 50k HP, 7k DPS, 6k Armour and about 400 resists.

Cleave + Revenge spamming my way through act one. Could stand toe to toe with the Skeleton King, plus a few elite packs. Have a 620dps weapon with 475 life on hit which is nice.

I am trying someone's spec who has 100k HP lol. He killed Diablo and it's a bit like a daoc Paladin build so great survivability. Gonna see how it pan's out.

Sadly you are going to hit a brick wall in act 2 with a melee class, need some serious gear for that. Both my monk and barbarian surfed through act 1 inferno but stopped dead right at the start of act 2.

Currently doing Kulle runs on my wizard to gear up :)

Oh and seems some gold dupe exploit is rampant. Reddit and forums are exploding atm

Bahamut, use Frenzy+Side arm, so much better than cleave :p also try get resists upto 600-700 ish and physical resist upto 900-1000, you'll walk through act 2 pretty effortlessly then.

So you sacrificed strenght to get intelligence for the resistance Blood? Might consider doing that myself.

Won't use it anyway, bit of a cheek asking an extra £10 on top of an already expensive game in order to keep your account safe. Have no need/want for a smartphone either.

Good move really. It saves them from having to deal with people getting hacked* with real money being involved.

I give up on diablo3...

Cant get past regular mobs on act2 inferno as the snake things that pop out of ground 1-3 shot me, joined a random wizzy asking for help on act3 boss boss azmodan and HE kept die'ing I had to rez him 3 times or so each try before and including when we did it. But I hardly died. I really cba with it lol I can take hits from bosses but not regular mobs; since I unlocked the act3 starting port I tried there but still instantly died.

And there's no way I'm doing skeleton king/butcher anymore shitty sub 60 drops :/

i dont play anymore :p my neighbour is using my account and no you shouldnt sacrifice int for str.

as for the authenticator they should have done that a long time ago because most of these people that get "Hacked" have either picked up a keylogger from gold selling websites or have picked up keyloggers from trying to find Diablo III hacks.. obviously they cant goto blizzard saying "Oh I got a keylogger from trying to find hacks for your game" so they make shit up and claim to be the victim of being hacked. - and no i'm not saying its like that for everyone, some people genuinely have been hacked without any sort of dodgy involvement but the majority i'd put money it being self inflicted more or less.

If you feel stuck, you simply have to wait till patch 1.0.3 at the least. Hopefully that makes the act1 inferno -> act 2 difficulty less steep

I farmed warden + butcher maybe 20 times before my wizard was well enough geared to tackle act 2, until after magda.

Act 2 doesnt start getting really silly until you start encountering the snake bitches + various mobs during blood on the sand.

DH is just lolworthy. 850dps at the start of NM, using the elemental arrow with the lightning rune, just kills everything.

Ah, atheism and religion are but 2 sides of the same coin, one uses its head while the other relies on tales.

It's an american company, what did you expect? :D

Wizzy is no doubt more so. Without ah gear was at 1.1k at NM start, frostbeam one shots nearly anything and archon clears any champ-pack :p

Doesn't matter, you cant buy it from Europe :p restrictions. Witness the ruination of online gaming ladies and gentlemen because this succeeding will guarantee its place in every MMO/ARPG from now on and games will be structured around it just like Diablo 3 was.

I just hope no-one actually pays that kind of money!

I really don't see the point in it, tbh.

I don't necessarily think it's the ruination, much like free to play payment models didn't ruin online gaming.

RMAH is part of diablo, not built around it.

they will and are tho pikeh, its going to destroy any sort of online gaming... imagine this for a prime example

World of Warcraft, gear, progression, server firsts, fun with friends - pretty much the key things in WoW yea?

World of Warcraft with RMAH: You can buy all gear whether it be raid, pvp, roleplay maybe even legendary items - gold will be 100% worthless more or less because the majority will switch to selling stuff on the RMAH - any item you find will be worth next to nothing on the normal Auction House and as we've already said gold is worthless anyway thus you will be forced to either sell it on the RMAH further funding Blizzard's insatiable greed or let it rot in your bank.

Thats basically the future of all MMO's or indeed any game that incorperate the RMAH and now that this has proven to work Blizzard won't let it slide, no company that makes MMO's will because they know its a massive extra revenue stream.

Well, I'm not going to use it, will farm items once 1.0.3 comes in for my own use, only like playing with my mate. AH is dead as of now anyway. When PVP comes we'll see how that goes, would like to know what kind of system they have in place.

It's all a matter of ratio's; will the same amount of people buy from the RMAH as sell from it? I doubt it tbh, prices will be driven down soon, I reckon.

It was built around it tho Thotori, it was no coincidence that Diablo III was made so difficult and imbalanced in places, chalk it down to lack of beta testers if you want but the fact of the matter is harder to farm items will prompt people to seek them else where, be it the normal auction house or indeed the rmah for those who couldnt make gold effectively. Blizzard knew exactly what they were doing when they made Inferno the way they did and now they're nerfing it so more people can do it, again coincidence? I think not, they're nerfing it so more people can farm items and indeed more people can sell items on the RMAH which in turn = more money for Blizzard.

For every item listed and sold on Diablo III Blizzard make $1 listing fee, 15% from any sale and an additional 15% whenever you transfer your earnings from Blizzard to Paypal.

and considering items are selling for $100-250 at the moment Blizzard is making $30-$37 per item BEFORE anything is transfered to paypal and before listing fee's.

That's quite a doomsayer view on it Blood and would require a few things to be true;

A: 100% necessity to use RMAH(as it is now, you don't have to, never have)
B: 100% of people using the RMAH(as it is now, not so much).
C: A game company building game mechanics to do either of the above, which again they're not.

What you're describing is a moneyhungry copycat firm trying to steal peoples money with some clone.

Interesting that it's "proven to work" though, since it's barely live :p

And on your later post; i'm not listening to any more of those arguments(bliz is greedy wah!) as the game was built so you don't have to use the AH at all(you can test it yourself). If you think otherwise, conspiracy room is that way.

Oh and Blizzard are talking about adding the RMAH to Hardcore, imagine the revenue from that? people that die in Hardcore need A) new character and B) new items, both of which you can buy from the RMAH.

Why is very blizgreed whiner so adament that RMAH is the only possible way to play the game and that 99% of people will use it o_O

ESPECIALLY in hardcore only morons would use it.

Or s this just a case of regurgitating the latest ragewhine you found in the dumpster that is the official forum :p

I will wait for it before i make any kind of judgement and even then; it's the players who willingly feed the money.

Let me say that again; willingly.
