I've been biting my tongue on this subject for years because I know it stirs strong feelings among many people but I just cannot hide my feelings on this topic any more.

Tap dancing is wank; it's shit and no matter how great, and graceful, the dancer they just look like clumsy oafish idiots while tap dancing! Case in point, just watched a Muppet Show episode with Rudolph Nureyev (one of the best dancers ever) and he did a tap number and just looked like an epileptic marionette with sagging strings.

Tap dancing: it's not clever, it's not cool, no one looks good doing it...just don't!!

Must agree, riverdance was alright BUT there should be an age limit on it really no one wants to see a saggy old **** flopping about on stage, I mean come on? who would honestly pay to see Michael Flatline doing the Liverdance when hes 80.

One of the only people i could stand watching tap dance, Gregory Hines. Thing about him was that he was really was talented, did great movies and he could dance like a mofo!!
