i think that generally peeps are saying CC wins a fight

the solution is simply to get rid of bolt range mez, get rid of instas and accept the fact that whilst some peeps cast quicker than others (that 0.2 ms really makes a diff...lol @ peeps who pay 10p for 100% items/armour btw) the chars are meant to be different!

because 1500 vs 1875, and at lower dex on the guy with 1500? thats why, if they however gave healers same range, and same dex then sure.

Ppls seem to forget pala has an instant taunt shout too cus never seen 1 pala on excal use it to win cc vs non qc cc classes..if pally is not afk its v useful to taunt enemy driver bard / healer with same range as their mezz ~~

sorusi, pls stop spouting crap.

aoe stun is HIGHLY useful for wiping out FGs even with a couple of det5 tanks, just depends on how well timed ur group is.

but I think you meant casted cc

I have seen palas use it - FC ones, but I dont' think it's a good idea to stick your pala out in front. He can try from further back but still... much better to either let the mincer stun or let the sorcerer do his job :p A good mincer won't let that cast mez get off in most situations...

I'd rather have the mincer driving and insta stun the bard/pac healer and have the sorc further back but never afk...
Insta CC honestly doesn't bother me on contact. The fact that I don't have it later when things get dirty bothers me :D

Reaver shout is good for interrupting too. Wish they exchanged ranges for the 2 shouts though, would prefer lifedrain shout having the big range ;)

Dont need pala infront , just be awake when inc and sprint v easy.
And tbh i dont prefer mincer as driver since vs many grps its driver who get cc:ed 1st. Have the MA to drive instead . But ofc it matters who can drive or not etc ~~. Pala taunt range > Mincer stun range so if u face a good player he ll deffo land mezz before mincer got to stun. Unless runnin in hills etc and no los

yea lets pretend they all is unable to find their purge button etc and cant interrupt healer before stun ~~. As soruzi said vs idiots maybe but not vs better grps assumin some of em have their RA:s up etc

for you albs who havent played hibb and think instamezz vs midds is even an option think again. instamezz lasts like 2sec and if you arent heat debuffing the savages instanly it will be the same outcome as not have mezzed at all.

watch a good mid pbae team in action, if they are well oiled and IF they mez first with enemy close together, you have about 3 or 4 seconds to live. det tanks might survive the initial 4-5 pbs but i doubt it.

for an example, watch the newest WL vid (or get pwned by new NP gg)

Like for example 1 drood/pally/cleric cant púrge and hit grp instant / FH at right moment?
Mincer cant purge and SoS etc?

This may be a scenario if u meet either a grp with slow ppls or with RA:s down.

Sorcs are fine atm, and things look even better for us when we eventually get Frontiers (assuming we get to keep Shield of Immunity and Ichor).

Also qc is only any good if u get jumped from behind and u got an assist train on u 1st, but what usually happens to me if this happens is that i die just as the qc>mez lands (with 2 savages/skald or 3 savages on u, 2sec qc is a loooooong time), still quite usefull for my grp yeah, but hib/mid can recover from being jumped very quickly with no casultys (could change with this new Shield of Immunity RA thing, still long way away, looks nice tho i admit).

But still, id take my range and cast speed over instas any day.

Not mezz, stun

When do people start to realise that STUN is the problem...not mezz (especially aoe/instastun).....

sorc gets mezzed --> gets hit --> QC mezz --> dies but half the mid/hib group is mezzed....
with stun its sorc gets stunned --> sorc gets hit twice --> dead sorc --> all mids/hibs dancing because they have skill

most of the cases where hibb fg groups get "pwned" by aoe stun is because they gp the intial mezz instead of waiting 2 - 3sec and GP:ing aoe stun. so basicly their own fault.

alb has a bit less option, however they do have sos, and all realm has group insta, along with purge's (alb has 3 classes with purge/grp insta - cleric,cleric,paladin)


also, groups who get "boxed" up and pwned by aoe stun are usually randoms who were afk sticking their leader into their own death, its not like it is hard to avoid getting instamezzed when you are not the cc yourself, ie a cleric/druid should ALLWAYS unstick at line of sight.

aswell as tanks move out to the flanks to avoid intial mezz.

and for these reasons i dont see aoe stun as a threat, have faced it with hibb grp (best midd grp on prydwen Midget Maffia used aoe stun very well, but it wasnt very hard to counter when you got gp and used it correctly or used baod :eek:)

well all realms have that way, healer loose mezz = get slammed while mezzed (since they dont even have self bt to absorb that first hit). even at this time, if for some reason slam would miss and he would get off intamezz, that only let him live additonal 2sec, granting the tanks mezz immunity for 1min.



so in short, fuck up initial mezz (your own fault) and you are fucked if you dont want to waste RAs like gp/moc, or instaheals or if the enemy fucks up (their fault).

what soruzi said, any decent alb group spreads on sight and aoe stun is going to do nothing....

I don't understand how MM did so well w/it but I think it says something :x

But they prolly all diseased and FH while diseased is zzzz. :) (ofc grp insta as well, but still better than FH :) )

Such Lies man. Often u wait for the Stun to Land b4 u Purge. But you r mezzed and train or SM heading towards u, either :

1. you Purge to survive, and THEN u get stunned.

2. Or, you wait for the Stun to land first, then purge. By which time, u been hit by a savage, or PBed.

2 Realms = insta win.
1 Realm = Hard mode.

And soon, your regular healers get Buff-shearing too....sigh Mythic must be all Scandinavian.....
