Dono whats happened....all i can say is... DayZ.

what is your TS details poag for future reference? people on DayZ forums reckon another restart would fix the problem with stuff that vanished

Gnarr! I had the CZ550, 4 ammo left, food and juices. I was camping 2 tents I found near a small pond... and i thought i was well hidden. I was there for like 10 minutes, just laying next to a bush, eyeing the tents and 2 zombies nearby... thought i had heard something, thoroughly checked the surroundings by doing 360 zoomed, thought "Ah, nothing, must be the wind."

10 seconds later, either crossbow or hatchet kills me from behind.

My heart literally stopped for 2 seconds. So infuriating !!!!

Fucking lol. 2 yanks using mics to talk to each other in elektro school. Waited in a one door room and head shotted one of them. The other one manages to shoot me and knock me out, break my leg and knock me unconscious. He then starts saying I am his hostage now and asking as to whether "I am mad bro?" dragging me around the place, I regain consciousness and play dumb to see how it pans out. The douchebag drops me trying to get me through a door. I rip him to shreads with my assault rifle. 2 dead yanks, a bunch of decent gear and an alice pack. Ta muchly. Down to about 2k blood though one of them was nice enough to have a morphene injector on them so at least the leg is fixed. Will scavenge a bit and go and hunt some meat!

fucking pumped now, not sure I will be able to sleep.

Is anyone welcome to pitch a tent at the FH camp? I don't play on the server a great deal at the moment because I lost my NVGs but wouldn't mind a base somewhere.

If you come on the server/set up a tent - you have to come on TS though - because if there's one of us hanging around, we may be inclined to shoot you if we don't know who you are.

Gonna check the ATV spawn site, see if it's there, borrowed some repair stuff off Poag, as said before, will repay them when they need them... Also took a couple of M1911 clips from your tent, I have a tent near by yours full of stuff that could be of some use to you and your friends, will give you the co-ordinates when you come online

Is the Bus half a klick south or so yours too?

Quadbike isn't there, going back to return this stuff, will head back to our camp following the rough route we took... it's probably one of the spots where you stopped to refuel

Will slowly head down to the Island where the Helicopter is supposed to spawn too.

Yeah of the two buses, one lost all the wheels down the right side after it was rammed into a tin can. Mine however which drove through buildings, trees, frences etc...perfectly fine. Thats the one down the hill from our camp.

I just found a bus myself while looking for ATV. So much fun speeding through towns and running over zombies

i managed to get it working, walked around for 10 mins, avoided a load of zombies, found a building.. and fell down the stairs and died /flex

There are a handful of starting locations along the south coast.

You have to find a map (though there are websites around with a map on)

Yeah random leg breaks do happen and are very annoying, though it is only an alpha.

buildings do dictate what you can find yea most civilian buildings will give either pistol, winchester, lee enfield, akm, double barrel shotgun, crossbow

military buildings can give pistol, m16, svd, m107, mp5

helicopter crash sites can give bizon, saw, as50, fn fal, m4a1

there are other weapons in there but those are all i've encountered so far really

Only found out how to open the extra storage on Alice packs today. Found the one I nicked off that dick last night as full of decent stuff. Had a few alice packs now, I wonder if the times I have nearly starved to death I had food all along?!

well finaly got round to playing it, arma 2 i got off the steam sales kept givin a key error when ever i ran dayz. found a fix today and spent 30 to 40 mins running away from a mass crowd of zombies, some how after 15 mins of being chased and twated by the zombies i stumbled over a cliff and a few of the zombies suicided by running on and falling all the way down.

did not come across 1 single player i think while i was running and it was a server which had 40+ peeps on
