I played this morning 6:30 am Dubai (GMT +4) to 9 am got to 15, got my scarecrow, got my house but cant find anywhere to put it. No just trying to login in and queue of over 500! Bearing in mind that the players in now are all paid up for the head-start, they knew full well how many would be on this weekend. Should have put more servers up based on that.

I can't even download it - is installing locked until its actually released? Looked at their forums but couldn't find any solid info.

They have been getting Dossed and login servers have taken a hammering. Thats why Shagrat has been struggling.

Cog, I'm not sure, I think if you install glyph you should be able to pre-load it. But they did do it so you couldn't DL the final patch until monday. Perhaps thats meant locking out people with free accounts? Not sure.

Ye Tilda I've installed glyph, I get the error (I think) #2028 that says I don't have the rights or something. Not overly bothered at the moment as I wouldn't be able to play anyway, I'll wait and see what it does on Tuesday!

The DOS attack at the weekend was a pain in the butt. Still managed to get to lvl 31.5 scarecrow and small villa sorted. So quite pleased and enjoying the game. Will be interesting to see the queues this evening with the free players joining. Seems Patron will be a must to play if they don't add more servers. Two hour wait in Sunday evening to login...

playing @ shatigon, lvl36, managed to place a thatched farm house, but had to go all the way to hellspawn to find free spots.

lvl45 now on Dahuta East. A few of us hit 50 on Sunday, and while that's quick it slowed down a lot more than I expected it would after about 35. It's been a pain free levelling experience though, so long as you're lucky enough to get to contested zones at 30+ when they're in peace. If they're at war, it can be a real pain in the arse.

Going to be busy today and tomorrow which I think might be a blessing in disguise with the F2P release. Off work on Thursday so I'll hit 50 easily then and we'll starting running Greater Howling Abyss and/or farming Hasla weapons. Then the road to piracy begins!

Was pleasantly surprised by the XP from mining. I mined 600+ stone for the Villa and have about 700 Iron. My Villa is 2/3 done just need the wood now.

Playing on Kyprosa East. Leveling "Linux" my Justicar (Occ/Vit/Def), just starting to push out some semi decent heals now with the HoT and Group Heal (20m radius).

Another use for the stone if you get tired of levelling or want to boost a couple of levels quickly: crafting Hereafter Stones (3 Stone Bricks + 1 Blue Salt Wedge [1 silver from General Merchant]) will give around 1-2% xp for your level per craft at any level. I was underlevelling quests a bit and so crafted Hereafter Stones for 10mins, which got me the remaining 70% I needed of the level at 36. You can then sell on the Hereafter Stones or just keep them for tp'ing around.

With the mining and crafting I'm about 3 to 4 lvls over my quest area right now. Mining at Lvl 29 was giving around 350 xp for Iron/stone and if you get silver/gold/arc node under it was giving 640 xp, around 10% chance of the second node. Considering mobs were around 180-200 it was pretty good xp. I mined 200 in around 70 mins at 6:30 am Sunday morning not many around so was a bit easier. Refining the stone for my villa also netted 64 xp x 200 every few seconds so crafting is pretty decent, bit like GW2 in that respect. Good idea on the Hereafter Stones have lots left over so will do that.

Not done any trade runs yet but thinking its best to join a guild first.

Didn't play Beta, couldn't gee myself up for another standard mmo and this has completely taken me by surprise. Loads to do and once I got out of the starter zone, the game just feels different, plenty of enemies to fight in our pvp housing zone as well which is great! working through the mats for our first boat!

got on for about an hour yesterday, really impressed with the game! made a mage/wizard guy, have no idea what i'm doing but it's really fleshed out.. literally spent a good 15 minutes climbing trees XD funn

3.6K queue when I tried last night went down to 1819 after 2 hours. Gave up and thought I'd try this morning before work. Server updates for 6 hours . No doubt long queues again tonight. People are not logging out due to the issues they seen many running in circles or up against walls in building. Becomming a bit of a bad joke. Shame because the game is good.

Yeah I logged on to try and make a character last night, 3500 people in front of me. Went and walked the dogs and had dinner, came back and I'd been dc'd so I tried again and dc'd again! Trying again tonight!

The queues are insane, yeah, especially for F2P players. I think it's better for the longevity of the game that they aren't panicing and making 20 new servers though.

You can only have 2 chars atm, that's on all servers total. You can buy expansion slots though. I just create a new account and started playing on a server with less queue times hopefully.

Thought I'd give this a quick go;

Not all that bothered to be honest but feel sorry for the guys that sunk £150 on this and can't play.
Also, not doing them any favours for the f2p crowd who probably just want quick accessible 'fun'. I know it'll alleviate over time, but when?
