Just noticed Angry Birds Star Wars, but got fed up with AB months ago. Cut the Rope is positively boring now. I honestly don't know why I still have it on my phone.

The only games I play on the phone now are International Snooker, Flick Golf, and Flick Golf Extreme.

I never saw the big deal with angry birds, just the same as browser games from 10 years ago.

Playing Broken Sword atm, classic.

Had a jellybean android update over the air this morning, made some of the inbuilt apps a lot slicker. Don't know if it's a android firmware update or a samsung specific one though.

What's the best free animated clock/weather app for my SGS3? :)

Downloaded and installed Evernote 'cause a mate told me it's great. Anyone use it?

I use Go Weather Ex as a widget, best weather/clock app imo.

Beautiful widgets for me, also this is my home screen.

Time, Date and Battery are minimalistic text. Weather is BW.

Non dock icons are minimalistic icons. Dock icons are shorticons.

In which app?

In BW its Settings, Widget, Background and Colors.

In Minimalistic. Open your widget from the minimalisict screen, scroll down to Text Style..then its just color :)

Can't find the minimalistic icons though

Minimalist Text is superb once you get the hang of it
If you go onto AndroidForums / desktop thread most of the ppl list the apps they used to create their lock/home screens and also their wallpapers.

Scribblenauts remix is out now for Android, but you have to use the Amazon app store to get it (worth having anyway, they give away a paid app for free every day. usually crap, but sometimes get a good one)
You can get the amazon app store from here
Basically Scribblenauts is a puzzle game where you have a magic summoning book, and have to complete levels by summoning the correct items to solve the various problems in each level. Or you can just have fun summoning the most insane combinations of items that you want.

So I've got a stack of photos on my phone I'd like to organise/categorise by tags.

Is there an Android app which will allow me to add various tags to each picture, then when I want to see the fruits of my labours, I can enter a single tag or multiple tags and it will bring them up for me in a variety of views, or store them in folders?

Ideally, this should all be possible on the phone. None of this uploading it to websites or editing the EXIF data on a PC beforehand

Thx but not what I'm after. That app's designed to add tags & share on social media

I found something called F-Stop. Allows you to edit all your media with tags and sorts them. The only thing it doesn't do - and its one thing I need it to - is to produce a list of photos compiled from user-defined combinations of multiple tags.

(ie - give me a list of all photos tagged with "rabid lion" AND "Baroness Warsi" AND "arena")

Why don't you just put them in a folder labeled rabid lion & baroness warsi & arena?

Oh, I could of course, and I might have to do some selective foldering. But when you have loads of pics, it would be so much easier if an app could do it for me. Plus the fact that I might want to search for any number of combinations at a later time.

Two great simple jumping games, both free:

Crazy Jump - horizontal jump game, massively addictive. Very, very old school design, perfect retro feel.
Doodle Jump - silly vertical jumping game. Less addictive, bit more gimmicky (controlled by angling phone instead of tapping). Great cartoony graphics.

Google keyboard, Google's own free gesture keyboard. Looks like a deathly blow for swipe and swiftkey. I use both and Google keyboard is much much better.

Hmm, I can't see that in the Play store on my HTC Desire searching for 'google keyboard'. Only available for some minimal Android version (this is CyanogenMod 7.x, so 2.3 based) ?

Ah yes, checking on the web "This app is incompatible with your HTC HTC Desire."

Prognosis - available on Iphone and Android - free - its ace - used for training doctors but if you are medically minded its fun to try and diagnose based on real case histories.
