What up bitches, I can confirm the S3 does play flac files. The error was from windows telling me the device does not support flac files, not the phone.

Ah, so the user was filled with teh ghey. Sense is made!

Final Fantasy 3 out on Android. It looks pretty good. Only downside is its £11...but...reviewers are saying its got between 30-80 hours of game play

May have to get it.

iirc it only takes that long to play because you will end up grinding the professions. I grinded a lot on that game :)

Also, you should make sure that when you actually level up you do it as a Black Belt to get more HP. There's complicated FAQs detailing optimum grind strategies :)

Does anyone have it when an app randomly uninstalls itself? Had it a few times now, just a bit odd.

Avast works well, as for if you need it well that depends what you are running and where you sourced it from. 99% of stuff from marketplace is safe but pirated stuff is a much higher risk.

Google can uninstall applications that they think are dangerous without notice. Easy way to check would be if the app has a different version or is missing from the app store when you look for it.

That must have something to do with it then; there's normally a newer version than the one that got uninstalled automatically when I go to grab it again.

Weird that it's happened mainly with SkyGo a couple of times, even happened with Google Currents once!

I've had Google currents for ages and it's not uninstalled.

Very odd behavior!

Weird. I was just looking at windscreen mounts for the GS2 the other day and that app popped up.

About to test it on the road. If you don't hear from me again, give the app a miss ;)

OK just back from testing the app.

First up, it does work.

Your cradle arm needs to be well out the way of the camera view.

London has a lot of narrow roads with double parked cars, and the app often gives you a red warning if the nearside parked car takes up too much of the field of view. It records your speed accurately and the distance between the car in front in seconds.

The big danger is watching the phone and not the road. A couple of times when I meant to check my rear-view mirror, I ended up looking at the phone (they recommend positioning it as high up as possible).

Its a clever bit of code. It does work, has quite a few features on it, but imo you're better off without it. Download it, have a play around, but don't rely on it. You'll probably end up having an accident

Suggestion: Stop looking at the app and concentrate on your driving?

Completed FF3 this morning. Awesome Android game. Didn't spend too long farming levels, so only got my chars upto lvl 64. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended if you like the FF series.

It is. Make sure you install the addons for your arm variant though.

You don't need them but in my experience (HP Touchpad) it increased the performance. Especially on hi resolution videos.
