You open music files in ES? Seems a bit of a faff, most music players have a library they add tunes to automatically?
I used poweramp (and still do on my tablet) and that plays fine with no gaps. I'm using the walkman player on my new phone, seems as good or better in the areas I use. I'd definitely recommend paying for poweramp though, it's a damn good player all around.I think Poweramp does gapless but its a paid app. I think you can get a free 2 week trial though if you want to try it out.
Edit: Just checked paid version has gapless options.

Yeah it works one of two ways, root and it takes care of everything directly or non-root you add a proxy to each WiFi setting you have to get it sorted. The only downside of the non-root is if you were to close AdBlock by accident (or it crashes) the proxy disappears so it can make it seem as though your wifi is down. This may have already been covered but I just found out AdBlockPlus works on Android you just have to add a fake proxy server and bye bye adverts. Very impressed.
Like what? I'm just curious as I've not encountered an app like that.I can't root as I've got apps that won't run on a rooted phone.
When they stop just switch to CyanogenMod as you'll get the best of bothSky go, sky+, Barclays mobile banking and Barclays ping it.
Only downside of the upgrade was a forced upgrade if my Google maps. On shitty version 7 now.
Looks like Samsung only bothered upgrading to ensure compatibility with the gear.
Is your GPS working? I went up to 4.3 as soon as they released a stable one but it made my screen go all glitchy in Dolphin, among other apps. So I rolled back to 4.2.2 (CM 10.1) and all was fine, apart from GPS. I know they've fixed it in later versions (mine is from August).I have CyanogenMod on my S2 from 4.1.2 to 4.3 and it is fantastic. Very fast and smooth. If I get a S5 I will eventually put CyanogenMod on it.
No chance, that relies on using an out of date version of the app provided by a third party. I've read through the thread and all the suggestions compromise security.
