what i said about IP applys to Speed of Sound. a lot of the special ra's look uber when looked at individually. while SoS allows a group to escape, so will group purge when its fixed. personally i have noticed more success overall since the patch because of RA's, even though i have had none of these "uber" ra's, more a load of passives that overall help :)

(edit : forgot i have see hidden, but ah well)

the freak just got me again doesnt he ever go offline!

thought after a tough day at the office I would go and play daoc for a bit see if my thoughts on the game had changed....

run out of DL to get ganked by 2 stealther camping the valley...

go again to get ganked by a load of stealthers past the greenbarks, near the little rock...

release and go again to get nailed by alpha b4 greenbarks....

All were Alb's.... must be lovely to be able to camp routes to emain like that.... your frontiers empty so we cant do it....

Log to watch "one flew over the cuckoos nest" just bought on DVD gr8 film...

Think this has confirmed that I cant be arsed with this game anymore....

Albions additional class isn't the Music class though, every realm has a music class. Ours is another cloth caster that got 1/3rd of the abilities of the other casters and made all 4 of them really watered down.

Owned by See Hidden or one of the other lamely unbalances RA's isnt a shame, its a natural consequence of coming to emain. Escepially for archers.

it still is at times hard to pick out the stealthers, the simple solution is to stay with the zerg like everyone else has to :p and also to stop wearing an emblemed cloak and shield, if it wasnt for them i wouldnt have seen you getting away and wouldnt have gotten you ganked :)

Picture this, AMG emain camped by hibs or similar in an attempt to stop the albs who has their funky power relic.

All of a sudden in a blitz here comes the "flash gordon" group, sprint + speed of sound + speed song.
Run STRAIGHT through the hib blockade, UNMEZZABLE UNSNARABLE UNBEATABLE.

No force on earth can stop them, no way.

The moment they got the relic, it is already home.

Funky that snare/mezz dont counter this ability.

Umm mezz them... 30s after they hit SOS - the mezz takes effect.
All they can do till then is move - they can't even cast another one ;)

The real problem there would be people would spam the relic group with AE and break any mez on them. ;)
Consider though... SoS is 30 secs. Healer/Bard best mez is 72 seconds... seeing a difference there. If you can't stop them in the 42+ seconds after the SoS expires that's hardly the albs fault.
Also Unbeatable is rubbish. Nothing stops you being hit while on SoS. You people overrate it. It's not a 30 second group purge with speed, it's only speed.

DD range remained the same.
They nerfed stealth, stun, and mez. That's pretty much the 3 prime attributes of a minstrel. And just because minstrels weren't the only one's hit by the stealth nerf doesn't mean minstrels weren't nerfed. :p

if I am not mistaken, SoS does not stack on Speed Song, so a bard or skald group should be able to keep up with them till the mezz does take effect.

It will however mean, unless there is a 30 second blockade on a keep, that minstrel groups will get into a keep everytime.

A lot of us are running alt routes now censi, we only run that silly route if we FG

This isn't going to stop the Armsman in the group who bought Determination at level III - 45% reduced mez/root/stun length, he's over the hill and far away :) Not that 30 seconds isn't long enough to get from AMG to PK anyway :)

There are plenty of unbalanced realm abilities (like why is there a realm ability on a 5 minute timer for power boost that costs as little as 3 RA points, yet second wind is on a 15 mintue timer and costs 20, prereq Aug Con 3, what's wrong with an equivalent endurance and power ability?) I think we'll end up seeing as many "tweaks" to RAs as we see to standard skills.

sos isnt that good..

it doesnt clear the status of the caster

i.e. u stun my minst, i cant use sos till stun wears off etc

Lol @ latest RA changes. Purge for 2p anyone? yes I'll have some of that. Lvl3 Determination for 6p anyone? yep that too. First Aid for 8p? oh yes that too!

But sorry, only avaliable for tanks. Will be fun to see how it turns out in the end.

but he doesnt realise Archers and assasins have been hit almosts as hard as mintrals..

The bottom line is minstrals have been tweeked so that they cant own 90% of the classes like they could b4.....

They still own archers... purley cause they are a stealth class with chain.... that on its own is damn good.... combine it with speed and stealth and you still have a gr8 class there....

I guess all other stealth classes are the bane of Archers.....

Seems like Mystic think tanks need more RVR luv.... when nothing could be further from the truth....
