are you sorc when they do that? :p - there you have your explenation.. also there are alot differance between the healers in NP.. they all have different playstyles

no, but some healers in np are "avrage" healers, wich use instas alot :p but then, haven't seen you out in emain lately so :p

When looking at NP... I usually do not get hit by insta-mez... 99% of the time I get hit by AE-stun and then long-duration mezzed... If you purge the mez, who cares, they still have (AE)root from the shaman... Anything that still walks after that has 3-4 tanks on him... (and heck, sometimes even Ichor is up, horible ra)

You cant flank a group thats running at speed 6, because by the time you select someone, face, cast mez, their out of range already... If their not out of range, your lucky enough to fight a blind group (because you have to flank in a pretty close range)... (and if you see them from behind, how would you suppose to flank a group thats running at the same speed?)

The only time when 1850 mez is supperior is during a stand-off... And perhaps if you happen to get the jump on a group thats running accross your path in the distance ahead of you and they didnt see you... (even though, if their at speed 6, you have to be awefully quick to mez them)

That group that I tried to mez didnt get the jump on us, I saw them comming from miles away, I stood still, had the closest mid selected and was spamming ae-mez... Yet, I lose the mez battle with my supperior range and speed of casting a mez (around 1.5s)...

You say you can mez 2-3 tanks that are on a sorc, I have to use Quickcast though, so thats a 2s cast (hard-cap on QC)... And you say you can get that off?

And the 4 insta's Puppet was talking about, probably wasnt counting singles... But simply counting the fact that any good mid group runs with 2+ healers...

So basicly what your saying is... Sorcs are good... If they get the jump on things... Otherwise, we just lose to instants... Which is basicly what I tried to prove with this post... And the extra 350 range wont make a shit of difference when you get the jump on a group now does it, as they dont know your there...

bard can flank with aoe lulling -> drops speed for that grp,

sorc can flank ss6 grp with mezz, run up at ~1550 range from side, face + cast and they are mezzed :p

i have played healer konah, and as i said, singel insta CC on good sorcs :p aoe mezz rest

just aoe mezz on sorc who like to be afk, or not pay attention (and save the instas)

can't remember getting jumped for a loong time :p - this is the problem is not the classes :p get speed 6 it helps ALOT when leading etc..

VERY few midd grps have 2 pac healers, as most grps have 2 mend healers, 1 pac healer, there is only 1 mezzer :p and 2 singel stunners/mezzers w/o any insta CC

If you catch them running passed you, then you're not really flanking them, its infact a supprise encounter... So that doesnt really count...

So how do you suppose to 'flank' a group running at the same speed, and you cant go faster...

you learn their common routes - everyone has them :p also think where yourself would have gone in those situations ie, you see deathspam from 1 grp, you ask them where. they say xxx, now you ask where they head etc :p and after a while you learn their moves/routes etc :p and when you do that you can start flanking/jumping good

also you can feel "lagg" from grps when they are close if you have a semi decent computer :p

still the mids and hibs tell us how great our mezz is *sigh*

the only reason you don't want us to have insta too is because then the playing feild would be leveled (cc wise) and you wouldnt be able to have such piss easy wins and feel like your so superior at the game

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that cc determines almost every battle and that insta fuks all over castable. If you really played alb and could not retreat to mid and had to face it day in day out you would say exactly the same so please stop the bullshit i think you are even starting to beleive it urself.

You just told us to 'add' to groups that are fighting mids to flank them to get mez on them... :clap:

And if you check the common routes, you do that often via... A common route, funny how that works... And you often get 'collisions' which are in turn owned by insta-cc's...

Oohwell, it doesnt really matter, nothing will change... We will have to 'adapt' to it...

OK, theoretical approach.

Enemy running at speed 6, taking SHORTEST route from AMG --> HMG (Odins).

You see them when you come from Nott and you wanna flank them.

How to approach them and flank them. Watch it:

* You cannot get faster to HMG then them. They run speed 6 shortest route.

* You need to be unseen, otherwise you cannot flank.


Draw it out to me, I am too stupid to understand how it should be done.

since they are in odins, they will be roaming? so why not estimate where they will head next after the hmg stop?

hpk maybe? then you can get between hpk/hmg, and flank them while they are on the way back to hmg :p - just an example

didnt say they needed :p said all CC:s should aim for it, most of the time we manage to do it, since most albs stand around clueless (standing still = suicide) :p
