And why don't you have Savages, or end buffs? Or zerkers? Or bonedancers? Or this? Or that?
Midgård doesn't have skalds that can stealth, or overpwrd enchanters? Things like this seperatre our realms from each others!

I think it's something to do with albs having a cloth caster + quickcast
if bards are interupted they only have insta mezz (being as they dont have QC)

also, if instamezz would stop most of the whine about albion being outgunned in mezz war atm, give them it wont change much anyway, cos if the sorc cant mezz with bolt range, he wont be faster than the healer at instamezzing - also aoe insta mezz on any non gimped grp is useless

if you ever played in a decent group you should have noticed that insta mezz aint so "oerpowered" as many ppl say.
most fights ive been in that has not been 10fg vs 10fg
we have most of the times won if the oponents used insta mezz as it has Crap duration and radius. so it mostly dont stick on the whole group and tanks stay mezzed very short (if thwey got decent determination wich they should have if they aint low ranks or gimps) Insta Aoe Stun on the other hand is Way better if its used as it should be =) insta stun>cast none insta ae mezz.
so giv albs/hibs insta ae stun/and castabel stun =) 'and let all realms whit insta mezz use it and make then win cause of it 1 out of 100...
oh and nerf shamans having disease :\

Majority of decent sorceror's cast Mezz quicker with normal cast then QC, so I guess QC doesn't help

Pfft. The (admittedly few) times I've met you or Tomatera or someone else when driving, you've always ended up stunned. On the other hand, that means I now have 3 or 4 angry Hib tanks on me -- it's a small wonder when a guild cleric tells me my minstrel takes much more healing than my cabalist.

Not really actually... Before you land your mezz (quickcasted) your death by /assist tank for teh win.
With an insta you don't have that problem
Both have advantages, quickcast and insta's. Albs have CC on a toon with the shortest lifespan in the game (clothcaster) but best castable AoE-mezz and quickcast.
Mids got 1712 insta's and CC on a dude in chain and close to 1900 hp (dorf with some RA's and good buffs might even hit 2k I bet) and healing.

tbh its not bull, have you played a sorc.
The number of times ive been so close to mez landing and healer / bard has sprint and insta stuned/mez etc is unbeliveable.
Sorc is by far the most difficult class Ive played.

Insta-mez isn't used in that sort of situation. How often do you get flat ground fights in emain where you see a group at bolt distance so you can mez em.
What about.. when they run over a hill into each other... when there so close they run straight at sorc... etc etc.

Problem solved, I still dont see why they didnt give Bards / Healers a weak version of Quickcast, on a 1 minute timer or something...
Instant Anything >>>>>>>>>>> Casted Anything
Casted Mez vs Hibs == Insta Amnesia
Casted Mez vs Mids == Insta Stun
Amnesia has a rediculous short recast timer... And mids usually run with 2+ healers... So they have a shit load of instant-cc's...
With 2-3 tanks on me, I often dont finish my QC before I die... And our cleric has to have a instant up to keep me alive... Because initial heal wont land in time...

wedge in a mid grp with 2+ healers pnöy 1 of em has instas to use, the rest are aug/mend, would be stupid to have 3 48 pac healers in grp and none that can heal, so a mid grp has 2 ir 3 healers, but still with only 1 healer that has good enough pac to have instas, rest are there for the heals, and resist buffs.

great now why do we need all these to compete, surely these RA's etc etc should give us an edge when available oppose to being needed to compete.
tbh your posts have become more and more bias to the fact you think middy is on a level playing field as the rest, and that the other realms people are the problem.
Well funny how this is happening on almost every server, middy dominance where they have semi-decent population, hence its a game problem not a people problem.

According to mythic Sorcs can't have insta-ranged-aoe cc because it's overpowered.
Obviously it's ok for healers to have it because pac healers are to sorcerors as smite clerics are to cloth nukers.
Or something.

Insta amnesia is on a 10 second recast, the ST one is not even worth it, it is resisted more often then not(ask stubbe). Whereas the castable version of lull can be chain cast until your mana is depleted. I can interrupt one out of every 2 casts, a sorceror can interrupt every cast.
