Was getting continuous Twitter updates about this today. Mate, families spending £429 on a console? That's not going to be very likely. If Sony pull out £399 or anywhere lower MS has lost this race. 2 free games a month (Which most will already own?) and needing a gold account? Heh.

Exactly, MS will sell Xbox Ones but they won't sell them in bulk which they need to do given how many different entertainment platforms they're trying to worm in on.

Still not going to sell in bulk they 100% need to sell that Xbox in bulk to make it shine or all these ideas they've been bragging about will mean fuck all because the sales figures will be piss poor until the price drops, just like they were for the PS3 at launch, the Xbox One is no exception to what happened with the PS3.

I guess the price difference is quite simply down to MS adding the Kinect as standard, I suspect MS will have to consider a price drop right away.

Just pre-ordered my PS4 off Game, could prob have shopped around but meh, game had it for a £20 deposit to secure a console so I've just done that.

That said if Microsoft don't rethink their prices Sony are going to take the sales figures for sure, really won't be a hard decision for the average family near Christmas "hmm, should I pay £430 for a Xbox One for xmas or £350 for a PS4... HMMMMMMMM"
