When are Skalds being nerfed?

Skald > Minstrel end of story

But rvr isnt all about Skalds vs Minstrels.....

hands up (even if you hate me) who thinks a paladin, a 2H paladin no less, could take on a skald, 1:1, when the skald has FULL power and all his shouts ready to go?

im sorry but thats really is utter utter bollocks. i have solo'd skalds before, but ONLY because they had just used they're shouts on someone else, so i've been able to get in there and own them before they're shouts recharge.

i've been killed by yellow con skalds before i even knew they were there before. there is NO chance in HELL that the worst class in rvr (paladin) could take on just about the best (skald).

either the skalds you fought had no mana, or they'd just used all they're shouts up.

start :
so player one level 50 skald
so player two level 50 paladin

end :
player one on the floor


ps. im not showing my victory(i lose 9/10 vs same level skalds)..i just love to see ppl's points collaps

ow btw karam u hit for 270?
check out the dmg ...do some math... last 2 hits were 307 and 263..using a 4.4 spd weap...and im a weak paladin ffs!!!

and one more thing : thrust pole makes less dmg comparing to slash pole blabla..why? thrust pole is about 1dps faster than slash pole thats why....

slash - 15 penalty on chain

thrust + 15 bonus on chain

dont compare highlander with norseman

compare highlander with troll
norseman with briton

briton-norseman-celt are the overall allround races

highlander-troll-firbolg gives up some stats to get more str/con

4. Minstrels get plate armour

okay, well first off, that 270 dmg was that one hit i did to this specific troll. i CAN do up to about 350 to trolls/norsemen, i've even done 400 hits to them before, but as i've said so many times, im a leather wearer killer.

the only reason i cant physically kill skalds is because, they first of all do they're 2 170 dmg shouts, then mez me. then they sit down and rest till they're shouts are back up and reasdy to go. then they use them again, so by the time i get the 1st hit in im at half health already, so its already an unfair fight.

then, they do some gay shout thing on me that makes me not hit atall, dont know what its called, but its quite annoying considering armsmen kinda rely on hitting to kill stuff.

and by the time thats worn off they've hit me 3-4 times for 300 dmg and im either a) dead or b) dead.

i refuse to beleive any tank, from any realm, could ever take on a skald 1:1, if the skald had full power and all shouts ready. the only way they could, would be if the skald lost con while going afk and having his pc crash and house burn down.

Ehh - Minstrels plays excatly like this? You sure you didn't get PK'ed by a minstrel

Sorry couldn't help it - but pls stop this class whining and play the game - it is really getting old.

If you are afraid of skalds - don't go out solo and stay away from them. Skalds are mainly used for trains although they are good solo-class. They have week defence, they can only parry and they don't have a whole lot of hit points like the tank classes.

Skald is a hybrid - a warrior/mage thingy.

maybe the reason your friend the nightshade can take on a skald now 1:1 is because thankfully skalds have been nerfed to shite and cant do anything anymore. w00t

What nerf?
Think a nightshade is able to beat the the skald one on one due to realm abilities (viper, dodger).

Hmm..why should classes be nerfed to 'shite' and not able to do anything anymore anyway?

armsmen > heros > skalds

LOL, even I have killed level 50 skalds in *MELEE*, which is not a strong side of rangers. Where is this mysterious skald nerf documented, I've read all patch notes the day they are released and read the VN board quite regurarly, and havent seen anything about one.

lol i didnt say i couldnt take on skalds 1:1, i said they're way too over powered and they're HARD to take on 1:1. i've taken on a few skalds before and won, but i've been killed by them far more than i've killed them.
