Got 3 books to get through. When done, I'm going to re-read Magician / Silverthorn / Darkness @ Sethanon

Towers of Midnight. Hadn't read the last two Wheel of Time books yet by Brandon Sanderson. The final one should be out in January so catching up... :)

that rings a bell. I can't remember if I've read it, or its on my "to read" list. Probably the latter.

I've nearly finished reading The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. It's fantastic, I've had to stop reading it before bedtime because it wakes my brain up too much to let me sleep.

I want to read more popular science books, any recommendations?

I assume you've read The Selfish Gene already.
After that, Bob Zubrin's "The Case for Mars" is a favourite of mine.
The other sciences don't make for as easy going books as biology does. Try out some Brian Greene and you'll see what I mean.

A Short History of Nearly Everything is good. Stumbling on Happiness is good too. Bad Science by Ben Gouldacre is interesting.

Agreed, I don't really rate him as a presenter or writer. Though maybe I'm biased as I already know about all the stuff he tries (badly) to explain :) Hence why I enjoyed Freakonomics

Thanks for your advice chaps. I've read A Short History of Nearly Everything before so I've ordered A Brief History of Time, The Selfish Gene, The Fabric of the Cosmos, Stumbling on Happiness, The Case for Mars, Mutants: On the Form, Varieties and Errors of the Human Body, The Demon-haunted World and Bad Science. That should keep me busy :)

Paper Lion - Confessions of a last string quarterback.

Really good so far. Guys a good writer....even if he seems like he's trying to rip of Mark Twain with his writing style.

Interesting book, well researched and well written.

I can't dispute that. It just strikes me as a strange choice. What made you choose it?

And - so, why do some men like the women who like to get boffed by other men then? :)
