My god Terrans ability to harass is annoying. Reapers in the early game and then dropships throughout drives me insane. Two medivacs filled with marauders (with stim + concussive shells) can absolutely fuck you in the late/mid game. They kill buildings so fast.

No one has a spare guest pass? :( I wanna play but dunno if I should get a larger monitor as you can see more if you have a widescreen but I need to save up, £35 for game and like £150 for monitor eek.

Was quite a long time since I played now. But it always felt that Terran had so many easy tactics. I don't say that they are better than toss/zerg, but for example a simple mmm ball could win a whole lot of games and needed more of the opposing player to counter than of the terran player to use it.

Medivacs are a pain :(

If you do that would rock dude. I'm kinda on the fence about buying it as I'm a little sort on cash but have no decent game to play atm just daoc freeshard which is pretty shit.

Cheers Tohtori. If anyone wants to do some custom games leave a message I'll be a bit rusty but would be cool to play without the stress of ladder otherwise I might lose all my placement matches and go bronze league ^^.

I think i'm going to stop playing seriously until i get a new mouse. >.< My old one is seriously getting on my nerves with it's stuttering and not reacting when i click etc! I never thought much of it really until i started playing SC2.

I'm on a haitus too until our network stabilizes.

Got tired of losing games due to getting booted, especially since there's no system in place to compensate for that.

The balance changes in our next patch will primarily focus on improving the zerg.

Here are a few of the changes we currently have planned:

• We're increasing roach range. This will allow roaches to be more effective in large groups, giving the zerg more options in the mid to end game.

• Fungal Growth will now prevent Blink, which will give zerg a way to stop endlessly Blinking stalkers which can be very challenging to deal with in large numbers.

• The Barracks are going to require a Supply Depot, which will impact a lot of early terran reaper pushes.

• The reaper speed upgrade will require the Factory, which is meant to weaken a lot of the early terran reaper attacks that dominate so many matches, especially in team games.

• We're making a number of increases to the health of zerg buildings, which will make the very vulnerable zerg technology structures more resistant to raids. We don't expect these hit point changes to have a super significant impact on the game, but the current numbers felt way too low.

mad overnerf to reaper openings imo, most of these changes help zerg though which is nice :D

Well i dunno, it doesn't really change that much. You rarely(unless you're reaper harassing) drop a rax before depot anyway 'cause it's pretty much useless without proper SCV crew.

You wallup as quickly, especially if you use one scv(scout one) to build one supply, then start another, halt it, while the other scv builds the rax to complete wall and then finish the other supply, your first scv well on its way to scout.

I don't see many terrans going rax before supply depot anyway, but I don't really like changes that only limit options. All this does I suppose is stop terrans from going 8rax reaper or some proxy barracks rush. This means I can go 15 hatch before pool every game vs terran without an early scout.

Bug Fixes

-Fixed an issue where players could not cast the Feedback spell on Point Defense Drones.
-Fixed an issue where the Phoenix would continue to channel Graviton Beam after the target died.
-Fixed an issue that would cause Larvae to spawn and be hidden behind Zerg eggs.
-Fixed an issue where players were unable to navigate to the Single Player page or watch replays after canceling map downloads from the queue.
-Fixed a desync that could occur on user-created maps with custom mod dependencies.

though in all it seems quite fair. like that you dont need command center to build a unit producing structure

It was a void ray nerf IMO. They aren't nearly as good at taking out buildings now and are a bit too expensive to use in an army composition tbh.

Haha overlords. You should've covered them over this base so he couldn't click on any of his unit producing structures and then drone rushed him.

It was really a voidray nerf imo, since good protoss players usually charge up their voidrays before they get in the battle anyway. so they are normally working at max damage, and now the max damage has been reduced as well as their speed.

Has anyone been watching GSL season 2? Some of the play is fucking outstanding compared to season 1.
