and on a more amusing side note,
you do realise how contradictive your argument is right ?

a quick lynch on day one is a good thing for the wolves as it would mean us villagers dont have much of a chance to get information and will probably end up killing one of ourselves leaving the wolf/ves to kill another.

and yet look how fast your vote lands on me, you've obviously thought this through.

Sorry been a hard day at some random place of Education and finally get a chance to panic about werewolves murdering our 'beloved' mayor. A quick lynch today won't achieve anything at least not in my eyes. If we get our vote wrong we'll essentially be two people down unless there are other roles involved and someone gets lucky with some paranoid curtain twitching. There is a smaller odds of getting lucky and burning ourselves a wolfy but at this point I don't believe its for the best. It all depends on if we think we've got anyone with special abilities amongst us who could best make use of a night phase with the full complements of people!

Hmmm... okay.

Well I'm not quite ready to pick on what people have said yet. I will say that I do not think there is any rush. What with the space/time phenomenon that is afflicting us, this day should last as long as we need. The only people that would benefit from a quick end to this day are those with nefarious intentions, why so eager for the night? The longer we talk about this, the more chance that the wrong doers amongst us will slip up.

Also the arguments presented so far as reasons to vote and not are quite funny. Lots of throw away votes made so far as well, many of which could be viewed as voting to detract from bonds being formed between certain villagers.

at the moment it's beyond difficult to tell one from the other, so rather than beat around the bush, I suggest we start thinking about how we wish to proceed.

Ogaline, why are you so keen on pushing things forward when half the people living in htis ere town of ours havent woken up yet?

Hmm..
But apparently this is of no concern to some of our villagers, infact it might even seem second nature to some, who'd apparently rather let people wake up in due time, have some coffee and porrige and then maybe if we could be bothered we can adress this minor detail ?

So yes Aph3x I'm rather eager to push things along, as the thought of beeing dinned apon dosent really apeal all that much to me. the real question we should be asking, it would seem, is why arent you ?

Ogaline, I was merely suggesting you are very keen to get the voting process moving, in doing so hoping we make a rushed vote, which in my eyes seems rather wolfish. Based on that.

Vote Ogaline

your right, you do seem to be very suggestive, yet you fail to answer any questions. and as for whats Wolfish ? I wouldnt know, but apparently it would seem you do ?

Sorry I apologise for not answering them, there are 11 people in this village and not all people have woke up, i am saying to take your and our time over this and not suggest to people to get voting quickly.

You've said in your posts you are happy and willing to get the voting started, a quick lynch on day one is a good thing for the wolves as it would mean us villagers dont have much of a chance to get information and will probably end up killing one of ourselves leaving the wolf/ves to kill another. Thats what I meant by wolfish and thats why you have my vote.

Hmm..
Your digging your own grave fast here Aph3x
I've never encouraged quick voting or in anyway argued for lynching anyone.

I have however asked people to think about how we should proceed, thats an all together Very! diffent thing.

That you would so agressivly want to play spin on that, however is ever quite so interresting,

Spin, spin and counter spin. Now from the posts they have made so far. Olga is pushing for things to get moving, Aph3x questions this, Olga denies doing it, Olga doesn't ask any questions of Aph3x that he did not answer. Now to me this seems like a pre-determined interplay. They are not really harming each other, they are creating distance with meaningless points of conflict. By all means re-read their full posts, I have deleted the non relevant bits from the quotes. To me this seems like a distancing manoeuvre between two members of a voting block.

thats a pretty elaborate read into a discussion like that. might not a simpler explanation be that they are both by the most active posters here and arguing amongst themselves because, well, there hasnt been anything other than their posts to argue over. pretty much the only thing worth talking about is that olgaline has been trying to get things moving along, and olgaline is just saying that the accusation is baseless, because we have to do SOMETHING on day one. and he is right on that.

if they are part of a 'voting bloc' then wouldnt creating an argument like that be a bit counterproductive, since they cant very well be hating eachother and then go 'oh look, theres a better target' and vote them out, without seeming suspicious. of course by saying this i might have revealed a flaw in their plan that they can now take into consideration.

oh and also take into considerations that this is the TWISTED METALWOLF game, not vanilla werewolf. people might have been given special posting restrictions or views that they have to roleplay.

I said voting block, not wolfs, as I am well aware we do not know what anyone could be. It's not counter productive at all. By creating distance on day one they can negate the risk if one of them was found out to be anything other than a villager for example. It does not mean they cannot agree on points later.

I am simply giving my view, as for them being the most active, we all post when we can. If you wish to believe the simple viewpoint then that is your choice, I prefer to explore all the options.

dont take my post in the wrong way, i was not saying that your theory is stupid and useless - you have given me (and probably others) a different view on the matter that we can either take to heart or throw aside depending other information coming apparent in the game. that said, acting on that read and throwing one of them out is not a good idea at this point imo.

This is pretty confusing...
I´ll refrain from making a vote untill I have heard some more opinions. At the moment, I think that voting is counterproductive, because it might kill one of the good guys.

Care to give us a reason for that vote?

As for ch3ts theory while being a decent one he is way off the mark, I'm not in cahoots with Oga I'm just a villager who's picking holes in what other people are saying, trying to stir up some sort of discussion in the hope a furry amongst us will let something slip.

I'm just a poor villager, honest guv!

Arguments like that hold no water, as the only person who can vouch for them is you. You know there is such a thing as protesting to much don't you?

So we are two votes away from no lynch, and people want to end the day quickly despite us having little to go on? Surely it is better to discuss things at length and get a better idea of the make up of the village?

After reading through I have to say what Ch3t brought up it is clear the repor between the two of them and especially that since he's posted his observation Olgaline has quieted right down. It may well be that Aph3x is just replying to Olgaline innocently and vice-versa.

Plus the whole 'I'm just an innocent villager' is a quick defence used in these situation where they feel there under pressure early on. And rather than making people look I'd say its more likely to increase attention drawn to them as the majority of us are just innocent villagers, theres no need for us to say it outloud.

Although I do believe a no-lynch at present is the right approach I think a bit more discussion is probably key before we head into the night. At least that way come the morning we may be in a surer position!

Ch3t, what would you have me do, sit and say nothing as a defence? Im putting my position forward as best I can.

Oh and Tris, im just asking why you have voted for me without putting any reasoning behind it, I thought it was a fair question to ask.

No, but a defence that you can not qualify in any way is no defence at all.

the only one who is even moderately close to being spot on is Fl3a.

Again, you cannot qualify your statement any more than I can qualify my opinions. I am calling things the way I saw it, I can not say I am right or wrong, and you can't prove I am wrong either. We just do not have enough info.

What we do have is time, and there seems to be a concerted effort to not use it. We have some dialouge going on now, and we will find out more from active discussion than quick voting.

I totally agree with you there, Im not changing my vote at the minute as it doesnt effect things too much and I still hold suspicions but I agree we've finally got some kind of discussion going on and it would be foolish to plough ahead and waste what time we have.

how are we two votes away from no lynch? tohtori said, 6 to pass a vote and theres two saying 'no lynch' which would make us 4 away from a passing vote of no lynch.

and from olgaline saying [out of character] and saying that im remotely spot on, i might be inclined to think i was right about the posting restrictions. and in a closed (unknown) setup game INCLUDING post restrictions you dont have much to go on in the first place. after all, you cant conjure conversation out of thin air. unless you do this:

vote: tris-

flea - learn to count, 2 plus 2 is 4. But okay, if you want to make claims in the hope no one will check back to verify, you go for it.

however that would imply that Olgaline is affected by some posting restriction (some of his earlier posts would certainly suggest that) now the question is does that mean he's got a special ability and thus if he's not a werewolf (not saying he is) making himself a target for them. Or it could be a case of picking people at random to have restrictions in postings!

no need to get so pissed off about it, i am sorry i forgot that there had been votes earlier in the day, just saw the two at the top of the page and thats the ones i counted.
you are right, we are missing two votes from the no lynch and thats a bit of a scary thought if you think the way most people here do (no lynch being a bad idea).

also, i something caught my eye:

Thadius said:

saying that he is waiting for more evidence to come to light before making a decison and then casts a vote (makes a decision).

ch3tan, i hope you wont think that my post about you counting the votes wrong was accusatory towards you, i just thought you made a mistake with the counting but it turned out to have been me who made the mistake.

guys, can we please! just to a reasonable extent pretend that we'r actually a bunch of people in a village under siege by a pack of werewolfs!

I'm not saying go full on cape and hat and eth'eth'thou'ing
but just try! to grasp a tiny bit of imagination, and refrane from constant out of scene referencing. and if you have feel that out of game issues might influence your ability to participate just use [out of cha] or in game explain that ehm your off to the loo or what not.
