After hanging out with Tribescast http://tribescast.com for the T2 Draft Tourney Finals this last weekend and seeing the recent interest in shoutcasting/podcasting and this burgeoning eSports community, I've re-invested in getting some high-level scrims going ASAP.

I specifically want to try out 7v7 and 8v8, the purposed eSports team size. I know many of you want to play in larger team sizes (10, 12, 14+) but I want to better understand the limitations of smaller teams in a gameplay setting.

In anticipation of private server support, we are pushing to get a "Hi-Rez Private Server" set up for initiation based scrims to help tease out some of the sticking points of comp play, a.k.a. all the threads that got locked because of "Not sure until we get to test some of these flags".
That being said, in order to have an invitation base scrim, I need you guys to begin segmenting into Tribes (clans) for match sizes of max 8, so 8-10 players depending if you want subs.

What I Need From You
++ FORUM PM from the team leader in the following format:
- SUBJECT: Invitation Scrim Team <Team Name>
----Team Name <TAG>
---- Leader Handle
----Time Zone
----Preferred Play Time (GMT)
----Roster

I will make a post with rosters once we get a few organized and will communicate updates for when the invitational scrim server will be available.

My team has signed up. Anyone else from here on a team that's going to play in this?

I remember back from the BarrysWorld days when the lead developer of Tribes came to the UK and gave me a gold disc of the game to install on some servers ready for people to play on. Loved it. I suspect I may still have it somewhere in all this shit, could it be worth anything?
