Not really, remember Joe Cole will be back next season, Chelski really suffered from the lack of Essien and Cole in midfield this season. Mikel had a good season to grow and develop, and I think if you introduced Pirlo you would have a little too much competition for places. I do not see Lamps or Ballack going, only Deco.

No, i'm of the opinion he needs far more time to spray the ball about than the premiership will give him.

The last thing we need in our team is another aging midfielder too, i hope Ancelotti has his head securely screwed on before thinking this one through.

ancelotti likes to field old players though :)

but I don't think pirlo would be suitable for chelsea.. he lacks the physical strengh and hasn't been performing that well lately..

Well Ancelotti never really decided on transfers at Milan, Mourinho called Ancelotti the vice-manager behind Berlusconi :p

I'm hoping we dont go for Pirlo, i remember when he played against Brasil and they played at a fast pace and closed him down, he was absolutely shite. It sounds a bit like made up gossip tbh.

The loss of Ronaldo is a huge dissapointment for the Premier League. I don't remember seeing a better player for Man United (that is my opinion). Perhaps they can compensate for him, but they won't be able to buy someone else like him - it will be very sad not being able to watch Match of the Day and look forward to his goals anymore :(.

La Liga have the big 3 now; Kaka, Messi and Ronaldo. El Classico will be great fun to watch :).

Except Barcelona will just cut Madrid to pieces with Madrid seemingly not worried about their back line :p

I'll miss seeing him cry when he gets challenged. "The nasty man kicked me!!" ;) Will be interesting to see United play with an actual winger or midfielder rather than an extra forward which is what Ronaldo really was.

Cassilas - Has been dodgy as hell lately and been made to luck like a chump
Ramos - Is he a defender? haha.
Pepe - Decent
Marcelo - Same as Ramos.

I really wish i could find the percentage of Ronaldos goals scored when united were already ahead i think it would be over 70%

I think that is irrelevent, just my opinion though :). For example, Ronaldo scored against Newcastle when it was 0-0, then went on to score two more, so I can't see how that concept has any relevence to how good a goal scorer he was. The fact is - he scored a fantastic amount of goals.

Pepe and Ramos are two overated show ponies.

Real desperatley need a holding midfielder. Something they have sorely missed since Makele.

Real Madrid are interested in Vidic

whut!? Your opinion surely has changed over the last few weeks. After all the abuse and negative rep I got from you, I thought Carrick was your pick for the best player in the world.

They have 2 diarra's for that, 1 of them is world class.

As a non Man U Premiership Fan i will not missing for every moment of greatness there was a dive or a plea to book a player. With the amount of Penaltys and Free kicks he took I did not think he was that great at free kicks. Some where great but 2 or 3 times as many missed by miles.

There is some green eyed monster there but i do not think him leaving will hurt the mancs let alone the league.

I have mixed views about this as a Utd fan.

End of the day he is a Madrid fan was always going to leave at some point, £80m is a lot of money to turn down even for the world player of the year.

My worry is we will be reaplcing him with Valencia who quite frankly is no better than Nani or Park, his goalscoring record is piss poor.

Will be a lot of pressure on Rooney now to take over from Ronaldo.

Not any more. The good Diarra is a shadow of the player he used to be. I wonder if Real will go in to get Cambassio back because theres no better DM in the world.

I winder if this Ronaldo deal will fall though, did Madrid have to sign him or just try to avoid that £26 mil?

No chance m8, Ronaldo requested to leave again.

That £26m Madrid would have to pay before end of June was probably media bullshit.

I'm glad i dont have to see him on motd anymore, he's got such an annoying face and demeaner.

As an opposition fan it's good since without him United wouldnt have won anything in the past 2 seasons. Lets hope Ferguson spends the 80m as well as he did with his last 80m (Berbatov, Hargreave, Nani & Anderson LOLOLOLOL) :p

Don't see why he would go to Arsenal when he's at Barcelona? I know his brother is there but probably not for much longer.

What makes you think Kolo is leaving it looks like Gallas is off this summer so can't see Kolo leaving.

But i can see Yaya's agent using the arsenal link to get another 10k a week though.

Sadly, i dont agree. Their deficiences were plain to see through the games I saw of Real Madrid last season.

As for Ronaldo, Part of me can see it going totally wrong for him. The Real fans know how much he cost and if he doesnt hit the floor running they will be on his back

I dont know anything about Yaya im afraid, I will email my friend to see if he knows something. However, I cant see why he would want to leave Barca as he has made a name for himself as one of the best holding midfielders in the world and is idolised in Barca. However, I am sure I read somewhere yesterday he was an open to a switch but had ruled out Arsenal because they werent big enough for him. This isnt a troll, its what I read. It might have been in the sun or something so it is probably bull.

Its not bullshit. Its fact. But as I have said on many occasions, how can real madrid get away with negotiating with a player without his current clubs permission.
