I've just learned that my gym got smashed to bits on Monday night... apparently people were still in there and some got beaten up and robbed. Gym's closed and they are going to start processing membership refunds next week. Don't know when or if it will re-open. Fuckers.

Have you seen the average gym goer? For every one big serious guy their are usually 30 fat unfit guys and skinny guys running on the treadmill for 3hours.

I think the police did a good job with the 'tools' they were given, give it a couple of weeks, and there will be some chavs suing the police because they broke their leg when they were looting..

Yeah the whole front of the pub is made of glass, all of it got smashed, one single pane wasn't reinforced and that was the one he kicked in and cut himself on. He was pretty lucky an Indian family passing by in their car let him in their car, although they were surrounded by about 25 masked yoots so didn't have much choice

exactly, it's depressing in the society that we live in that we bend and break to what ever the Government says, people don't have a say, and it's just getting worse, tbh, what needs to happen is protests and perhaps riots backed by the public, for the right reasons, but meh, it won't happen, people are too scared to be out of the 'norm' I guess :|

Not the whole nation backed either of those though, and they were discussed in parliment. You cannot have a referendum for every major decision, it would be unworkable.
