I had my CV done by a pro CV writing service .... was like £20-40, it's worth it.I had my CV done by job center and then by the uni and a friend. I'd be happy to post my CV up to give you an idea. As in all cases my CV has been noted for being professional and well laid out and informative. The same for cover letters which would be proof read also. I was and still am signed up to about 30 job websites also (how I got whsmith interview) and signed up to numerous companies job alert services.
This is over 2 years do remember this, maybe not enough looking at that perspective?
Shit, kicking off in Bury now:

I just hope that there are some hard liners in tomorrow's parliament debate that demand stronger action. I have not worked my butt off for the last 22 years to see this happening in my Country. I have two children, 17.5 and 20 who are so well behaved I get compliments and I am classed as "middle class" by our standards. Why? Discipline and respect being teached to them as they were growing up. I never gave them pocket money. If they wanted any money from me they had to work for it just as I had to. They understand the value of money and the importance of having to work to get money. Also, I left them back in 1999 so you could class them as coming from a broken family.
I am sick to death of hearing all these excuses being made for the youth of today. Nothing to do, no jobs etc. Every generation goes through it. The only difference in my opinion is the silly laws brought in by the Labour Government which stopped schools from punishing children and all this "you have to be" politically correct crap. Christ I remember getting smacked by strangers if I was being naughty and if I went running to my Mum/Dad to complain they would turn round and say "You deserved it, should not have been naughty".
Beat me to it, bastard
just to clarify, were still welcome if we bash the bishop to streaming goat pr0n... Right? The post does not have to be reported by someone to be actioned upon if it breaks The CoC.

In a further Libyan response to unrest in the UK, Libya's official news agency Jana has published a report urging the UN to protect British "protesters" from "repression".
there is no doubt a rotten core in some of these kids, but most are just misguided who probably never have gotten the chance to take pride in anything theyve done.I agree completely. Not would imprisoning these people be a drain on the tax payer, but it simply wouldn't achieve anything. With community service at least something constructive is achieved and you never know, some of them may even learn to take pride in something.
You do realise that some of the 'rioters' had jobs? You do realise some were at uni? What's their excuse? INNIT BRUV, TUPAC 4EVA.
They are idiots? Theres going to be a lot of reasons for different people but the lack of youth opportunity is an important one.
so you think locking these kids away for a couple of years will help?Oh fuck off. When I grew up there was NO youth centre, NO daily activity. No fuckall. A group of us (around 20) would meet up each evening and find something to do that didn't involve breaking the law.
How did we know that? Our parent taught us. For fuck sake, you can live in poverty but still educate your children about what is right or wrong. That does not cost any fucking money.
so you think locking these kids away for a couple of years will help?
afterwards theyll go into society, be criminals, having kids with their 17 year old girlfriends and then they can raise their kids to have respect for other peoples property and learn them right and wrong when they dont know it themselves?
My 2 cents:
1.) Stop looking for reasons.
The whole was based on the fact that the police shot someone holding a gun. Sorry, tough shit. Id be annoyed if I got shot by CO19 walking through London, but then I'm not armed, Am I?! They don't shoot without prior warning in any situation. You are asking for trouble. Once things kicked off it escalated because the police couldn't control the situation and it soon became evident that there was potential for looting. This brought out all the scum who jumped on the bandwagon. Protesters? Don't make me fucking laugh. This was copycat looting. Perhaps 5% max of them were there because they were protesting against the police actions, the rest saw potential for stealing something.
2.) Stop pretending you have the ultimate solution.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and that's fine. However, think back in life to the largest decision you have had to make, did it affect an entire country? Probably not. The government in this country has it failures but there are only a handful of people who are responsible for making decisions that affect everyone. We elect them to do and I for one would rather let them do their job than have the other option (Hai Zimbabwe etc etc). Nor would I like to be in the position to have to sit and make a decision like going to war, or using deadly force etc etc. I'm man enough to admit I don't think I could live with it on a daily basis.
In conclusion what happened was wrong. There is no excuse for destroying public property or peoples livelihood. Anyone has a right to peaceful protest against a government or any public body but don't confuse what has happened to innocent people this week as anything other than mindless vandalism under the guise of 'protest'
Anyway
Flame away.
Can I say "cunt" ?
