The majority of people where I work are British. We're a British company. I suspect it's true all over the country. The majority of SHIT jobs that the estate scummers used to do, but now will not do due to lack of motivation, have gone to non-British people.

Thats not my experience and I'm talking about well paid jobs not the local burgerking.

What's wrong with that? If importing staff can improve profits, why would a company not do it? Businesses are not to blame, ease of migration and the factors that lead to migration at all are to blame.

Businesses do have social responsibility as well you know. They try very hard not to though.

Its pretty bad for us as a society unless your happy to support an ever growing jobless underclass indefinately?

I was speaking from the POV of a particular business. How can a business justify not trying to maximise profits?

I agree that I'd rather more localisation with employment but also accept that, inevitably, labour needs to be at least a little bit mobile.

None that really affects what they get up to. Even gambling companies only have to pay lip service to responsible gambling and customer protection, whatever the rhetoric they give.

What Chilly said. That's hardly a new business tactic and perfectly normal. Go back a few decades and you'll find people complaining about all those cheap Irish builders that companies employed.

Mate just got offered a 50inch plasma out of the back of a brand new x5. This is in the middle of the high road in streatham, within sight of lots of cctv and the police station. What absolute muppets these guys are. Also being able to afford to drive an x5, and trying to flog off stolen tv's? Really?

In the longer term the market they operate in degrades, crime affects them more etc. etc.

We have never seen Immigration on the scale of the last decade or two.

How stupid - and what would they do then eh? Anyway how do you take benefits from kids who dont get any?

More of a laugh than anything, if it gets 100,000 signs, it "could" be discussed in parliment ;p

That is the biggest thing, back in the day, any fucker would clip me round the ear if I was being naughty. Harsh punishments at school to ensure discpline.

Nowadays noone does it because of PC and stupid fucking laws. Smack the kids if they are naughty.

‪Manchester Riot Police Serve Up Some Cold, Hard Justice [HD]‬‏ - YouTube

Seems some of the Manchester police are taking a slightly harder line now. These were some of the rioters who torched the Miss Selfridge and who the police had been chasing for 10 minutes.

Or people with experience v kids with none.

There was actually an article about this in the Sunday Times this week; you're far more likely to be offered a job if you already in work (by a factor of about five).

Its a valid point about lack of opportunity; I did an apprenticeship, one that actually meant something, not the mickey mouse shite you have now, and there were loads of apprenticeships in all kinds of industries for 16 year olds who didn't think FE was for them. Now its pretty much Higher Education, a McJob or the dole. Nothing "in the middle" that has any worth.

If kids were getting up at 6.30 in the morning to do a proper job and a job that they actually wanted to keep, they'd be too tired to loot and too scared of losing their job to get in trouble.

Really? These were looters who had smashed up, stolen, burnt, thrown projectiles at police and where trying to run. Everyone has been asking for some more hardline policing, and look at the outrage when it comes. Pointless.

Also, if a few bruises convinced them to go home, rather than continue criminal actions then the police did bloody well there.

Really?

All I saw on the video was a load of police men, attack a lad who had got off his bike. How do you know they were guilty of anything? Getting off his bike like that maybe he was innocent. Maybe he wasnt. Then to whack him around the head a few times and kick him whilst on the floor. Why didnt they arrest him and have him brought to justice? Why not stop at a police beating? Why dont we start chopping limbs off or public stoning of anyone we think may have had something to do with it? The police are there to protect, not to dish out brutality when they feel like it, not to mention, acting like that could incite tensions further.

As I said, hopefully at the very least he will lose his job.

This is why the country is fucked, some cunt breaks in your house and you give him a beating. Next thing you know you're in court for assault. ......

They had apparently been chased from a building that had just been torched.

You know you really shouldn't try and tar all these people not getting jobs purely as a problem of immigration, the simple fact is a number of those who could go for such a job from the inside the UK simply won't because they view the job as being below them.

Wait what? So gohan you would like police to have a free reign to dish out beatings just incase someone looks guilty? Insanity and can only incite more violence if that was the case. Only have to look at the West Midlands Police who have no quarms about beating women and children during a match day if they see fit.

Bit of brutality at these little brats is what needed, they want to riot and be violent then they should be met in kind. . . best way to show them that every decision has a consequence.

Maybe be a bit too far if you set an arsonist on fire.... but im sure they wouldnt do it again if you did. lol. . . . getting a picture of a certain red dwarf episode here!
